General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will eventually get down to business. Although Dante wanted to return to Port Charles for the sake of reconnecting with his family, he’s still got a job to do.
Dante’s been battling his “I will complete the mission” mantra along with familiar nightmares, so that’s setting the stage for danger.
Even so, Dante will move forward with his assignment and see what he can find out about Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Of course, there are already some PC residents who believe Peter is still on the dark side.
Although Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) don’t have hard evidence of Peter’s guilt, they’ve found enough to know he’s guilty.
With that in mind, a smart guy like Dante will catch on fast. Dante should soon determine that Peter truly isn’t the man he seems to be.
Naturally, Dante will worry about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who’s expecting Peter’s baby and recently got engaged to him. Maxie is closest to the Peter peril, so General Hospital spoilers say Dante will keep an eye on her.
However, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is the love of Dante’s life as well as the mother of his son and former stepdaughter. Lulu is obviously going to be Dante’s priority no matter the situation, so he’ll want to protect her from any Peter drama that’s on the horizon.
We can’t forget that Lulu works with Peter at The Invader, so she’s certainly close to Dante’s dangerous target, too.
As Dante’s mission intensifies, the investigative journalist in Lulu may realize something’s up. It’s easy to imagine Lulu confronting Dante about why he’s so fixated on Peter. Lulu may feel like Dante’s Peter fascination is strange and even uncalled for.
Dante might try to downplay it as being protective of Maxie for Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) sake – at least at first. Nevertheless, Dante may have to make a difficult choice at some point. Lulu and her nose for news might even catch Dante offering updates to Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins).
If Lulu learns too much or Dante simply feels she needs to know what’s going on for her own safety, Lulu might become part of this mission in a way.
General Hospital established the potential for that since Robert relayed his Peter concerns to Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney), who’s working with Lulu on the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) story.
Jackie doesn’t seem to trust Peter either, so there’s a chance we’ll see another exposé with Lulu – one involving the takedown of the very man who’s running The Invader! Maybe Lulu could team up with Jackie on the sly to score the Peter proof Dante needs.
