General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a fire will break out in Port Charles! GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini offered a hint about the fiery twist to come through a pic he shared on Twitter. Valentini showed the back of an emergency vehicle that said, “PORT CHARLES FIRE DEPARTMENT PARAMEDIC.”
In addition to the new photo, Valentini stated that there were “Big doings in PC.” General Hospital insiders have provided a few more clues to go along with Valentini’s big one. GH fans can expect one building in Port Charles to go kaboom, so it looks like an explosion will be what starts this fire.
There’s no confirmation on which location will go up in flames, but Charlie’s Pub might be a good option. The place already survived an explosion back in 2018 after Mike Corbin (Max Gail) sabotaged the pipe downstairs.
However, Charlie’s Pub seems like the prime setting for another blast if Julian Jerome (William deVry) keeps refusing Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) offer.
Cyrus might even try to make it look like Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) hit on Julian. Then again, no one can rule out Sonny actually plotting something like this. We can’t forget that impatient Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) has Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) incriminating letter.
Sonny promised to deal with Julian if he found out his enemy was in on the baby switch plot. Julian indeed knew far more than he was letting on and helped Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) keep Sonny’s grandson away from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
There’s also the matter of the car crash that nearly killed Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) brother, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). Julian didn’t mean for Lucas to get caught up in the hit intended for Brad, but it still happened.
Lucas almost died and wound up in a coma, so the pain Carly and her family endured will matter to Sonny if he gets updates.
Nelle knew both secrets due to her eavesdropping, so you can bet everything was spelled out in her note. That bombshell letter could lead to an actual bomb if that’s how GH wants to take things.
If Julian genuinely fears for his life, there’s even the possibility that he could fake his own death – at least until he can figure something else out.
Regardless, General Hospital cast members have been filming his explosion and fire shocker this week, so it should hit the air in time for November sweeps. We’ll keep you posted as other GH news comes in.
