General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may have given fans some huge clues about what’s next. In the September 9 GH episode, Joss put on a good show about being totally cool with what happened between Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Despite Josslyn’s best efforts to pretend there was no awkwardness, there was plenty of it!
Joss made things even more awkward when she pointed out homecoming was just around the corner and suggested they all go together. It seemed like Joss was afraid Cameron might ask Trina, so she just swooped with this group suggestion before that could happen. It’s quite clear that little miss Josslyn is jealous!
Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” has been MIA lately, but the gang did bring his name up regarding their homecoming plans. Joss pointed out that they couldn’t forget Dev, but Cam and Trina joked that they could. We’ll see whether Dev actually shows up for homecoming or not or perhaps finds something better to do.
It’d actually make for a better story if Cameron’s the only guy on homecoming night. Of course, the real concern here is that homecoming may be a soapy setup for danger.
General Hospital fans will recall that Cameron and Trina’s midwinter formal plans were derailed. Trina and Cam wound up getting kidnapped and landed in a deadly situation that ultimately brought them closer.
Could Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) strike again – perhaps just in time to spoil a homecoming dance or whatever else the school has planned? It’d be interesting if Cam landed in a dangerous situation where he had to decide which girl to save first!
Cameron might inadvertently have to reveal where his heart truly lies – whether that be with Josslyn or Trina.
Then again, maybe Cam and Joss could be separated from Trina. After all, Trina may be in the most danger – particularly if Cyrus finds out Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) is still alive.
Cyrus also hinted that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had much more to lose than he thought, so he may know Curtis is most likely Trina’s biological father.
In other words, there are multiple reasons for Cyrus to go after Trina again. That could leave Cameron and Josslyn bonding in terror on the sidelines somewhere.
On the other hand, another near-death experience for Cam and Trina might officially push them out of the friend zone. Cameron could get caught up in Trina’s peril and realize she’s the one he wants after all.
Dangerous ordeals can sometimes bring true feelings to the surface and provide clarity afterward. Whatever the case, this homecoming mention is probably significant. That could mean we’ll see some homecoming horror that causes this teen love triangle to explode!
