General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) are on cloud nine when it comes to their impending bundle of joy. Peter and Maxie couldn’t be happier about the little one Maxie’s set to bring into the world.
In fact, Maxie’s so thrilled that she feels a bit guilty under the circumstances. So many other Port Charles residents are in pain – like Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) loved ones.
However, Maxie came up with a way to honor Lulu in their name choice, which will allow their daughter to carry a piece of Lulu always. Peter and Maxie’s baby girl will be named Louise – and they specified that they’d call her “Lou” for short.
Of course, we have to wonder if poor little Lou is doomed! Will Maxie and Peter’s child actually survive? General Hospital spoilers say Peter will receive some troubling news once the new year begins.
That news will snowball into a crisis of epic proportions. It’ll cause a chain reaction that proves to be quite horrible for Peter and Maxie, so what does all this mean?
For starters, the troubling news Peter receives will most likely be about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) not being his biological mother. It’s Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) who really gave birth to Peter, so that shocker’s going to leave him unraveling.
Peter may surrender to the dark side in many ways, especially after her inevitably realizes Anna has known the truth for a while now.
As for how things will snowball, grave danger is most likely looming for Maxie and her baby. At the very least, Maxie’s going to be stressed to the max. Since the baby is healthy right now, that’s probably going to change down the road.
From a writing standpoint, Peter needs to feel the true weight of his actions. GH writers may choose to make Peter pay robbing him of his daughter. That means Maxie would have to pay as well, but soap life is tough!
