General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) blissful baby bubble will eventually burst. Now that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) knows about Maxie’s bun in the oven, he couldn’t be more supportive. Peter’s completely on board with doing whatever Maxie needs and has assured his love that they’re in this together.
Maxie admitted it was her dream to have a baby with Peter, so she’s feeling relieved now that the truth’s out. Peter’s saying and doing all the right things, so Maxie’s gaining confidence about adding another baby to the mix. Maxie and Peter’s perfect little family is coming together – at least from Maxie’s perspective.
Of course, GH fans know better! We’ve seen all the sinister plans Peter’s carried out and watched him lie to Maxie time and time again. Peter does seem to love Maxie, but love’s not enough in this case. Peter can dote on Maxie all he wants, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a deadly criminal.
What happens when Maxie finds out the whole ugly story? Will General Hospital rip Maxie’s dream away completely? Maxie honestly doesn’t need another kid, so this baby storyline may be more about setting up rock bottom.
Once Peter’s horrible secrets are exposed, Maxie’s sure to have an urgent hospital crisis. This could lead to Maxie’s miscarriage – and the total destruction of the “Paxie” family dream. Maxie wanted to have a baby with Peter, but perhaps she’ll end up with no Peter and no baby!
Naturally, it’s also possible Maxie’s baby will survive, which would bring back those fears about letting someone down. Without Peter’s help, Maxie would feel in over her head.
However, it’s just as possible that Maxie will face the ultimate blow here. Maxie may find herself deeply distraught over the double loss of Peter and their son or daughter.
