General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will have another reason to grow closer. GH fans have already seen love starting to bloom for these newlyweds, but General Hospital’s about to kick things up a notch.
Unfortunately, the reason for Michael and Willow’s strengthening connection will be a sad one.
Mike Corbin (Max Gail) is fading rapidly, so his death is coming up soon. On September 16, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will fantasize about what might’ve happened if Mike hadn’t been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
We’ll also see Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) show her sympathy as Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) connect.
That same day is when Michael and Willow will get closer – and we can’t help but notice that all these GH spoilers seemingly line up with Mike. September 16 seems like it could be a standalone episode devoted to Mike’s goodbye.
Regardless, this trend of growing closer should continue for Willow and Michael. The fact that Michael’s willing to be vulnerable with Willow following Mike’s death should drawn her in.
Although this will be a difficult time for Michael, Willow will want to be there for her husband. This is Willow’s chance to truly become more than just a friend and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) fill-in mom.
Michael and Willow had a nice conversation about taking their time and getting to know each other, but the aftermath of Mike’s demise may move things along at a faster pace.
It may be hard for Willow and Michael to stop the growing feelings that are headed their way. Could this lead to Michael and Willow consummating their marriage sooner than planned, too?
Willow and Michael could easily get swept up in the connection they’re feeling. This could mean “Willow” is about to pass the point of no return and truly go all in on their marriage.
Although Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) seems to have accepted where things stand, it’ll still break his heart to watch Michael and Willow’s relationship deepen.
