General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, July 6 – Michael Takes Bullet Meant for Sonny – Jerry & Alexis Car Wreck – Lulu Kisses Johnny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, July 6, tease that the ABC soap will throw it back with another fantastic encore. This time GH will re-air an episode that first aired on April 4, 2008. General Hospital spoilers say peril awaits in this classic, so here are the details.

First, Kate Howard (Megan Ward) chats with Michael Corinthos (Dylan Cash) about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) business. Michael thinks they both know Sonny’s true line of work doesn’t involve coffee. Kate’s adamant that Sonny’s making some changes that’ll take the violence out of his life.

Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Joy Brown) gets a call from Dr. Ian Devlin (Seamus Dever) about a sniper rifle that’ll soon be pointed at Sonny. A little later, Claudia lets Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash) know they need air-tight alibis.

She nixes Johnny’s plan to visit Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) since Luke’s smart and could catch on. Claudia suggests Johnny find a girlfriend – one whose father could be easily intimidated.

Afterward, Claudia heads to the Metro Court and pretends it’s the first time she’s met Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche). Once Claudia tries to check in the penthouse suite, she lashes out over it not being available.

Over with Carly Corinthos (Tamara Braun), she’s upset to learn Sonny took Michael to the warehouse without her knowledge, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) defends Sonny. Instead of rushing over for a confrontation, Jason thinks Carly should wait until later and do it where the kids can’t hear.

Carly eventually gets a call about Claudia causing a fuss, so she dashes off to handle it. After Carly arrives, she gripes about Claudia acting like a stalker and wants her to leave. Claudia taunts Carly about Sonny, but Carly thinks Claudia needs to be kept away from him.

Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) grills Sonny about a body that was found down by the docks. Alexis suggests that when people turn up dead there, Sonny’s often connected to it. Sonny insists he’s making some major life changes after a gun incident involving Michael. He doesn’t want his kids to be in danger and hopes to leave a non-violent legacy behind for them.

At the warehouse, a new shipment’s arriving as Ian aims his weapon. Ian’s forced to lower it when Michael appears. After Michael’s led off with one of Sonny’s workers, Ian aims again while Sonny speaks with Kate.

Michael rejoins them before Sonny spots the sniper rifle out of the corner of his eye. Sonny hits the ground with Kate, but the bullet bounces off a pipe and hits Michael.

Sonny starts to panic as his workers shout about Michael bleeding. Back with Jerry, he stops by Carly and Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) place and learns Michael went to the warehouse with Sonny.

Jerry gets updates on Michael and Kate’s whereabouts for the nanny, which leads to him speeding off in his car. He gets into a wreck with Alexis, who’s curious to know what’s got Jerry so frantic.

Elsewhere, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) encourages Jason to consider what his life would be like with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Jason isn’t sure leaving the business completely is an option, but he alludes to the changes that are coming.

Meanwhile, Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) praises Liz as a mom and hopes Jason has a shot at being a father again. Liz talks to Robin about Jason’s dangerous lifestyle, but Robin reflects on her own parents’ dangerous lives. When Robin thinks back, she mostly recalls all the love they shared.

When Jason comes home, he’s taken aback to find Liz on the sofa. After they share a kiss, Liz is apologetic about expecting too big of a sacrifice from Jason. She doesn’t want to sneak around anymore. Liz wants to be with Jason and wonders if Jason still wants a life with her. Jason replies that it’s all he ever wanted.

On The Haunted Star, Lulu Spencer (Julie Marie Berman) rants to Luke about her issues with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Luke brings up how Lulu’s only there to hopefully score a chance with Johnny. Talk turns to the troubling financial state of The Haunted Star before Luke exits.

Once Johnny arrives, he bickers with Lulu and insists she still wants him. Johnny thinks Lulu’s just too scared to go for it. The argument escalates until Lulu eventually grabs Johnny and plants a kiss.
