General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, June 8 – Maxie Goes Into Labor – Jason Warns Michael About Nelle – Robert Punches Valentin

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, June 8, tease that it’s time for another Nurses Ball classic. Monday’s offering is an episode that originally aired on May 18, 2018. General Hospital spoilers say it’s packed full of drama, so here’s what to expect in this blast-from-the-past show.

For starters, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) steps up to talk about a glitch when Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) doesn’t come out to accept her Pioneer Award. Alexis is busy listening to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) profess his feelings for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but she knocks something over and exposes herself as an eavesdropper.

Finn rushes after Alexis when she runs, but he stops and looks at Anna as Alexis makes it out the door. Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) assures Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) that she can have her own private show in Morocco.

Nina would rather stay and watch the rest of the Nurses Ball acts. She reminds Valentin that he’s scheduled to perform and doesn’t get what’s going on.

Valentin relents and agrees to stick around while Molly confronts Finn. After Molly rips into Finn for humiliating Alexis, Finn joins Anna and learns she’s not dying as he previously thought.

Finn still meant what he said, but he notes that he needs to offer Alexis an apology. Anna also mentions a secret meeting that she can’t divulge the details of, but she’s optimistic about how it’ll all turn out.

Back with Molly, she warns Julian Jerome (William deVry) not to take advantage of Alexis’ vulnerability. Afterward, Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) questions Julian about his plans.

Julian’s adamant that Kim is his focus for the night. Once Julian and Kim settle in their seats, they watch Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) perform with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Once Finn finds Alexis at the Metro Court bar, he wonders if she’s drinking vodka. Alexis snaps that it’s club soda, but Finn’s just there to let her know he’s sorry. He didn’t mean to hurt Alexis, but she’s still hurting. Alexis admits she always knew Finn still cared for Anna, but she let herself be used by Finn anyway.

Finn insists he didn’t use Alexis and tries to explain, but she argues that Finn’s describing a rebound. Since Alexis needs some time alone, Finn agrees to leave. In Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) office, Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) deep in thought over the lighter she found.

She thinks back to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) mentioning that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) lighter went missing at GH.

Sam suggests aloud that finding the lighter means finding Heinrik Faison. A quick look through P.K. Sinclair’s book connects the dots for Sam even more. Sam sees all the puzzle pieces coming together.

At GH, Jason finds Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) by Nelle’s bedside. Michael steps out to speak with Jason, who’s adamant that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) didn’t push Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) down the stairs. Jason argues that Nelle’s lying, and he intends to prove that the schemer’s behind all the drama Carly’s been dealing with.

After Jason warns Michael to be careful, Michael suggests he’s got a lot to think about. Once Michael returns to Nelle, she asks if something’s wrong. Michael alludes to someone messing with Carly’s head and questions Nelle about what Carly might’ve said to her.

Nelle brings up the written notes that were disappearing along with Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) cologne, but she lies that Carly wasn’t making any sense.

After Nelle starts struggling to breathe, her monitors start going off and Michael settles her down. Nelle wants Michael to understand that her fall wasn’t an accident. She argues that Carly wanted her to tumble down the stairs.

Jason meets up with Sam, who shows him the lighter from Peter’s office. Sam and Jason reflect on Peter visiting Faison at GH. Sam also mentions the events of P.K. Sinclair’s book playing out. Jason marvels at Faison telling the truth about Heinrik hiding in plain sight. Heinrik Faison is Peter August!

After Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) declares that she’s not feeling well, Peter agrees to drive her home. On the way, Maxie’s water breaks and she cries out in pain. She worries since it’s too soon for the baby to come.

Back with Julian, he ends up going after Alexis while Kim approaches Drew Cain (Billy Miller) to spend the rest of their evening together. Next, Jason’s eager to hack into Peter’s email, but there’s no time to wait for Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to get back in touch. Sam thinks she’s up to the challenge.

On stage at the Nurses Ball, Valentin moves Nina with a touching performance. When it’s over, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) appears and punches Valentin. As other GH news rolls in, we’ll deliver more updates.
