General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, March 2 Recap - Taggert Dead, Trina Breaks Down - Brando Staying In PC - Jordan Needs To Flee

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, March 2, reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) spoke in the Corinthos living room. Brando said he didn’t want to stay in Port Charles, even though Sonny insisted.

Brando said that Chicago was his home and his life, but Sonny said that he could open up motorcycle shop here in Port Charles, and that family takes care of family. Donna Corinthos (Emma and Ella Hulen) started crying on the baby monitor, and Carly left the room, while Sonny told Brando that he was a target now and that he couldn’t go unprotected.

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine mansion, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) told Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that she loved Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) so much, but that she had to let him go because he isn’t hers. Michael tried to get Willow to change her mind and not to shut Wiley out, because both she and Wiley deserved to know each other.

Soon, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) arrived and told Michael that Wiley was having trouble getting to sleep. Michael left to go tend to Wiley, and Sasha told Willow that she was a mother to Wiley, even though she wasn’t his biological mother. Sasha went on to say that both Wiley and Michael needed her, but Willow refused and left as Michael approached the room with Wiley.

Next, at GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) reunited with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) after his kidnapping ordeal. Meanwhile, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) took Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to see Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) who was being prepped for surgery.

In the waiting area, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) regrouped with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and was furious with him for not calling her when Taggert called him about the kidnapping. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) managed to pull Curtis aside and quiz him about how he fit into the shooting, but Curtis stayed mum and said that he was just helping a friend.

Curtis clued in Jordan about Jason’s questions, then Laura Collins (Genie Francis) showed up and wanted to know if all of this was the work of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Jordan answered affirmatively, which upset Laura. Across the waiting area, Cameron told Elizabeth and Franco everything that happened, and later Elizabeth thanked Jason for saving Cameron’s life.

Jason called Sonny to tell him what happened tonight, and he noted that Jordan and Taggert are connected somehow. Sonny told him that he was on his way to the hospital. Laura told Jordan that they needed a better plan of attack than conventional police work if they want to combat Cyrus. Jordan agreed.

Meanwhile, over in Taggert’s room, Trina sat with him and eventually he woke up. Jordan and Curtis walked in the room while Jason watched inquisitively. Taggert thanked Curtis for making sure Trina got out safe. Jordan noted that she was glad Taggert was ok, but that they needed to work as team from now on.

Later, Sonny went in to see Taggert, telling him that his first call should have been to him. Taggert said that Trina’s life was on the line, and Sonny replied that “if this arrangement is going to work, I have to be the first call.” Taggert asked Sonny to look out for Trina, which Sonny said goes without saying.

Out in the waiting area, Jordan left a message for TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), then worried to Curtis about what Cyrus could do to him. Across the way, Laura told Sonny that Cameron nearly died tonight, and that Cyrus was now her problem. And in Taggert’s room, Trina and Taggert happily talked until Taggert sent her out for candy.

While Trina was gone, Laura talked with Jordan and announced her intention to get Cyrus put in solitary confinement. Suddenly monitors started beeping and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and other medical professionals ran in Taggert’s room – too late – Taggert was dead.

Lucas came out, saying that they lost him – it was a blood clot. Trina returned to the area with Cameron and learned from Elizabeth that her father had died, then broke down.

Later, as Trina was sitting with her father’s body, Jordan told her that her father was proud of her. And across the way, Sonny and Jason regrouped, with Jason explaining that the connection between Jordan and Taggert was real, and that this vendetta of Cyrus’ was as personal as it gets.

As Trina and Jordan left Taggert’s room, Elizabeth approached Trina and said that she could come home with them while they tried to get hold of her mother. Cameron stood there stunned, noting to Franco that Trina has been a good friend to him. Franco said that it was now his chance to be there for her.

Jordan got a message from TJ indicating that he was ok, then she told Curtis that she knows exactly what she needs to do to keep him ok – she needs to disappear and resign from the PCPD.

Next, Over at Pentonville, Laura received a text about Taggert’s passing right before she was led into see Cyrus. Cyrus taunted Laura about her own shooting, and Laura said that she didn’t have the patience for his games. She said that a friend of hers died tonight, and he taunted her some more, saying that she must be devastated.

Laura talked tough and indicated that solitary confinement was in Cyrus’ future. Cyrus balked, saying that he couldn’t be sent to solitary without cause. They bantered for a bit, and Laura pointed out that this was prison, not a court of law.

Cyrus said this was an abuse of power, and she told him to feel free to file a complaint. Laura said that he wasn’t sorry about Taggert, but that he would be.

Back in the Corinthos living room, Carly and Brando talked a bit, while Carly held Donna. Brando indicated that he wasn’t going to change his mind about staying, and he admitted that he didn’t want to be beholden to Sonny.

Carly said that if anything, they’re beholden to him since he saved her life. Ultimately, Brando agreed to stay, with Carly chiming in that it’s a waste of time trying to argue with her.
