General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, September 14 – Jason’s Emotional Vow to Mike – Ava Gets Sonny’s Trust - Olivia's Next Trip

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, September 14, tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) will get an unexpected visitor. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will show up at GH with flowers and wonder if this is a good time, so Brook Lynn will have a chance to catch up with him.

Of course, Brook Lynn should still be stuck typing on her tablet due to her vocal cord injuries, but it’ll be Nikolas who wants to do the talking here anyway. He’ll certainly be glad Brook Lynn pulled through after the throat slashing that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) inflicted on her.

Meanwhile, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will run into Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and wonder what brings her back to Port Charles. Britt will give Franco updates on her new job as GH’s chief of staff, but she may neglect to mention the huge change to Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) schedule.

However, it isn’t Britt’s fault that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) seemingly wants to cut back on those who previously had an established presence at the hospital. Cyrus is the one running the show, so it seems Britt is just his power-hungry puppet.

Britt’s clearly loving every minute of this, but Cyrus is the one who’s truly in control.

As for Liz, she’ll have to break the news to Franco that she’s been cut back to two shifts a week. Liz and Franco have already been having financial difficulties, so this is a tough blow.

General Hospital spoilers say Liz will offer an apology to Franco, but she’s certainly not to blame.

Naturally, that apology could also apply to this weird Nikolas situation. Nikolas shared a kiss with Liz – and Ava Cassadine (Maura West) shared one with Franco. Are things really as they seem?

It feels like this might be a setup that Franco and Liz have agreed upon – especially since someone was conveniently snapping pics in both cases.

Franco was acting suspicious during his chat with Ava and in his later conversation with Nikolas, so this may be one big ruse with Liz. Whatever the case, this is definitely a bit of a mess!

Back with Britt, she’ll taunt Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) about her chief of staff position. “No welcome back for your new boss,” Britt asks gleefully in Monday’s preview video.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstom) will also be on hand to find out the “Britch” is back in extra bossy mode – and he won’t look too happy about it either.

Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll seemingly be excited about the progress on her long-lost child hunt. Nina will assure Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that something amazing came out of their latest trip.

GH fans know the name “Phyllis Caulfield” was on the receipt from September 1991, so that’s a new lead Nina can work with. On Monday, Nina will confide some things in Jax.

He’ll learn some interesting details about Nina’s mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills), so maybe Nina will reveal who Phyllis is and how Nina knew her.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will tell Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) there’s a new plan. Olivia will insist on going with Robert as he seeks answers in Monte Carlo – and we all know Olivia tends to get her way!

Robert may gripe, but he should be glad to have Olivia as his sidekick deep down.

Back in Port Charles, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will rip into Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) over her tiebreaker vote, which gave Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) control of ELQ. Later, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will contend that maybe she could put in a good word for Ned.

Sasha may think she can talk Lucy into going against Valentin on future votes, but that’s risky for Deception since Valentin’s backing them. Lucy needs to stay in line if she wants to keep Valentin’s support.

At Turning Woods, Ava will urge Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to please trust her on something. Although Ava’s one of the last people on the planet Sonny would normally trust, he may choose to in this case.

Perhaps Ava will think it’s best for her to take some extra time with Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) under the circumstances.

As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll give Mike his word in some emotional moments by Mike’s bedside. It sounds like Jason will promise to look after Sonny and the rest of the family, especially since there’ll be some dark times after Mike’s gone.

Monday’s GH episode will also bring a confrontation between Britt and Julian Jerome (William deVry), so it’ll certainly be an action-packed show! General Hospital spoilers say Mike will continue to get some promises and farewell messages, so stay tuned.
