General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is closing in on Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). Chase certainly has no intention of letting down Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), so he’ll do everything he can to reunite Wiley Corinthos-Quartermaine (Erik and Theo Olson) with his dad and stepmom.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will fret over what Nelle might do if Wiley becomes too much of a burden to his crazy mother. He’ll be terrified over the thought of Nelle harming Wiley. However, even Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may have to admit that’s unlikely.
Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) have also discussed how although Nelle views Wiley as a possession, she does care about her child. It’s definitely not a normal kind of motherly love, but the point is Nelle didn’t take her son so she could hurt him.
Even so, that doesn’t mean Nelle won’t inadvertently put Wiley in danger. In fact, General Hospital spoilers point to Wiley’s life being on the line, so that could indicate that Nelle’s getaway is about to take a wrong turn – literally.
That jogger Nelle ran into insisted she should keep it under 30 since there are some blind turns. Once Chase catches up to Nelle, she’ll have a good reason to put the pedal to the metal! Nelle could end up going far faster than she should as she tries to outrun the cops.
The woman also indicated that if Nelle passed Occidental, she should turn around or else she’d be driving for hours. Once Nelle drove away, the woman repeated something similar to herself. “You miss that turn, honey, you’re going to be driving all night,” she said.
Since General Hospital writers took the time to bring his up more than once, it’s clearly important to the story. As Nelle speeds to escape Chase behind her, will she miss the turn? Missing that turn could cause Nelle’s plan to fall apart, so there’s a lot at stake here.
Nelle can’t afford to drive for hours to a destination she doesn’t want. Not to mention Nelle may have Chase hot her trail, which would make her desperate to leave him in the dust.
Nelle might swing the car around in hopes of making that turn after all – putting Wiley’s life in jeopardy in the process. Will Nelle crash and cause Chase to panic?
Fortunately, there’s nothing in General Hospital spoilers to suggest that Wiley will actually get hurt. Nelle, on the other hand, just might! It’s even possible Nelle will flee the scene while Chase makes sure Wiley’s OK. There are several ways for GH writers to take this.
Regardless, the show’s definitely set up the possibility of an accident – especially since Nelle’s out on the dark road and everything seems so ominous. General Hospital spoilers point to an eventual confrontation between Nelle and Carly, but that could come much later.
