General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will get an unwelcome visitor who catches him by surprise. On December 3, someone will seek Martin out for a conversation – and he’ll be shocked by who it is. Who would qualify as both an unwelcome and shocking visitor for Martin?
There’s one example that’s worth pondering here – and it’d involve a huge GH twist. You couldn’t get a more unwelcome and shocking visitor than Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier)!
Nelle is supposedly dead, so it’d indeed be surprising if she sought Martin out for a chat. Martin certainly wouldn’t be happy to see his worst client of all time, so that’d cover the unwelcome angle, too.
General Hospital has left the door open for Nelle’s return since we never saw her body. If Nelle were going to resurface and seek help, who would she turn to? “Marty” seems like a safe bet. In fact, Martin just might be Nelle’s only option if she needs an ally.
Nelle didn’t exactly have friends in Port Charles, but Martin was her lawyer until she fired him. Although Martin didn’t like Nelle, he understood how she operated and was willing to tolerate her when she was his client. Nelle and Martin were a decent team despite the bickering they often did.
Could Nelle make a comeback and try to use Martin to her advantage again? If Nelle can make it worth Martin’s while or has found some dirt to use against him, Martin might become her secret helper. The timing seems great for this since Valentin will fire Martin on December 1.
That should rile Martin up ahead of this unexpected, unwanted visitor – who could be Nelle. Just imagine if Martin later finds out Nelle is Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) biological daughter. Martin would be sitting on a shocker that could help Valentin win back his love!
Of course, there’s no guarantee Nelle will be the startling visitor that Martin would rather not see. However, it seems likely Nelle will appear to Martin at some point if she’s indeed alive. “Marty” will probably be the first and only person Nelle can think of to help her.
