General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some great drama’s on the way. During the week of June 8-12, GH will throw it back with five more Nurses Ball classic episodes. This will be the last batch of Nurses Ball encores before the ABC soap switches to a new theme, but we’ve still got some partying to do!
First, there’ll be two 2018 episodes that focus on the reveal of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Heinrik Faison. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) also goes into labor, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is left feeling like Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) rebound.
There are also some terrific performances – like the one Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) did together. General Hospital viewers will also see the sweet act Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) helped Mike Corbin (Max Gail) out on.
When Dr. David Bensch (James DePaiva) stalks Kiki Jerome (Haley Erin) back to her dressing room, Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) intervenes. Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) can’t help but notice the budding closeness between Griffin and Kiki. It influences a dark, bold rendition of “You Don’t Own Me” on stage.
In the next three episodes, GH is going to focus on the 2019 Nurses Ball. That one certainly had some fantastic performances as well. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) pulls an initially reluctant Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) into his act, but she quickly gets on board with all the dancing and fun.
Unfortunately, Willow’s run-in with Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) is far less pleasant. After Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) inadvertently reveals Willow’s child news to Shiloh, he demands answers about the baby Willow stole from him. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) thankfully swoops in and throws Shiloh to the ground.
Some Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) drama will also be revisited as Ava lures Ryan out of hiding. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is found strung up on stage after the Nurses Ball thanks to his twisted brother! That leaves some panicked onlookers ready to leap into action.
During the week of June 15-19, General Hospital spoilers say we’ll move from Nurses Ball to true love! GH is dedicating the week to Sonny and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) love story. “CarSon” fans won’t want to mis revisiting some of the couple’s most memorable moments.
First, there’s the 2007 Metro Court hostage crisis, which results in Carly and Sonny once again declaring their deep love for each other. Next up is an encore from 2013.
In this classic GH episode, Sonny’s losing control after going off his meds. Carly’s faced with the tough task of getting Sonny back on track and convincing him to take his lithium again.
Other General Hospital spoilers say the show will feature a special episode from 2015. Sonny’s fighting for his life after getting shot, so Carly reflects on their history in the chapel. She thinks back on all the highs and lows that brought them there. That’s followed by another 2015 classic, which features Sonny and Carly’s GH chapel wedding.
Finally, GH will deliver an emotional encore from 2016. Faced with the unbearable grief of losing Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), Carly lashes out at Sonny and blames him for the death of their son. This gripping episode is definitely worth rewatching, so don’t miss the drama-filled throwback.
