General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will finally be free soon. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) just took a knife to the back, so Ava’s feeling hopeful. Whether Ryan’s truly dead or not, Ava’s latest nightmare will wrap up one way or another.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) will still face a comeuppance of some sort during November sweeps, so there’ll be explosive consequences. All of this could lead to Julian’s GH exit, which could offer a different kind of freedom for Ava.
The point is Ava and Nikolas will soon be able to put all this drama behind them. Once the smoke clears and the dust settles, Nikolas and Ava can decide if they’ll really be able to make their marriage work. General Hospital spoilers say Ava will have her doubts, but can Nikolas put those doubts out of her mind?
Perhaps Nikolas will make a bold move down the road. Nikolas and Ava’s marriage was a sham when they began it. Ava forced Nikolas into a marriage of convenience, but it became so much more. Since Nikolas and Ava now have real feelings, maybe it’d be appropriate to say some real vows and have a wedding do-over.
Of course, that could start with Nikolas’ romantic proposal. Will Nikolas pop the question and ask Ava to be his wife for real? This marriage is already legal, so this ceremony would just be about making it genuine in their hearts.
It sounds like a really sweet thing to do, especially as Nikolas and Ava’s one-year anniversary approaches.
This could be a great opportunity for “Nava” to renew their vows and actually mean them this time. Would Ava get on board with that plan? It seems likely since Nikolas has more of a hold on Ava than she’d like to admit.
There’s an intense connection between Nikolas and Ava, so this is their shot at exploring it as a true married couple. This could serve as the perfect new beginning for Ava and Nikolas, so let’s hope some do-over nuptials are in their future! As other GH news comes in, we’ll pass along updates.
