General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) is feeling a flood of different emotions these days. Sasha’s hopeful that things may work out with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) after all, but she’s also furious with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) over all the drug drama.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) doesn’t want Sasha seeking revenge, but serious issues could be brewing.
Of course, it’s interesting that GH writers are finding ways to keep Sasha in Brando’s orbit. Brando saved Sasha’s life after she overdosed at Cyrus’ place – and now he’s trying to save her from the mistake of going up against Cyrus, too. Could Brando also save Sasha from more Michael heartbreak?
Brando can’t stop Michael from choosing to stay married and continue his life with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), which will probably end up happening.
However, Brando can be there for Sasha in the aftermath. Since Brando is developing a bond with Sasha, he’ll want to stay close and hopefully make sure she doesn’t overdose on drugs again.
There are certainly other less dangerous ways of coping with lost loves, especially on soaps. Brando enjoys a good hookup every now and then – as evidenced by the one-night stand he had with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos).
Unfortunately, Brando still hasn’t found true love in Port Charles. He hasn’t even had another passion opportunity, so maybe Brando will hit the sheets with Sasha next.
Naturally, Brando won’t want to take advantage of Sasha if she’s feeling vulnerable. Even so, it’s easy to imagine Brando staying with Sasha on a difficult night. If Sasha loses her last shot with Michael, Brando probably won’t want her to be alone.
Sasha may suggest that she’d like to feel something besides pain for a while. There’s no doubt that Sasha will need to blow off steam and feel some comfort. Without the crutch of drugs, what will Sasha do? Falling in bed with Brando might be an effective coping strategy for Sasha.
This would bring some great story opportunities, including one that’d lead to a bit of a twist. Some General Hospital fans expect Willow to end up pregnant soon, but what if Sasha’s the one who has a pregnancy in her future?
It’d be an exciting curveball and would make sense considering Maxie’s prediction that Brando would have a little one in his future. Maybe Sasha could get a Brando bun in the oven and give them both a new storyline – one that might help Sasha get over Michael for good!
