General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 5, reveal that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) woke up on the couch at home after a nightmare about the kidnapping. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) comforted him, and soon Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) came downstairs to join them.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) arrived shortly thereafter, and Ava comforted Trina and called Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) a brave man. The two were having a good talk when Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) arrived and hugged Trina. She sent Trina off to get her things, then turned to Ava, who tried to make an overture to Portia.
Portia, however, wasn’t having it, and said that Trina was not Ava’s daughter, and that her eyes were open to Ava’s history and the emotional void she has. Stunned and upset, Ava left, with Franco going after her when Nikolas refused to do so. Elizabeth blasted Nikolas for being uncaring and cold like his uncle Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols). Nikolas explained that he simply couldn’t comfort Ava.
Meanwhile, at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) told Sonny, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) that they needed to work together to take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Jordan got immediately angry and felt ambushed. Sonny said Curtis is right, and then Curtis told Sonny and Jason about the DEA task force that Jordan was a part of, and that Cyrus wanted Port Charles to burn as revenge.
Jordan flatly refused to work with Sonny and left in a huff. Once she was gone, Jason and Sonny revealed that they had figured there must have been a connection between Jordan and Cyrus. Sonny asked why Jordan doesn’t just go to the DEA for help, and Curtis explained that Jordan believes someone at the DEA leaked information about the task force. Jason asked if Cyrus had something on Jordan, and Curtis promptly left without answering. Sonny and Jason vowed to find out what Cyrus has on her.
Next, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) surveilled Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as they talked in the park. Liesl Obrecht spied Spinelli and confronted him about his spying, and Spinelli asked if she had any damaging information on Peter, since it’s time for him to pay for his transgressions. He also mentioned Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) arrest for the baby swap, which Obrecht found interesting.
Back with Anna and Peter, she asked him if he had ever heard of Lumina Industrial Enterprises, which was a front company that obtained visas for Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) associates. She said that there was a large wire transfer from that company to the assassin who tried to kill Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington) and Franco.
Anna then got a message with the name of a person of interest in the matter – Obrecht – and she deduced that Obrecht must have been the one who arranged Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) death and the attack on Andre and Franco. She asked Peter not to mention this so anyone and she left, while Peter called someone to thank them for “getting the information out in such a timely manner.”
At the Metro Court, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) met with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos). They talked about the proposal, and Molly said that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) didn’t come home last night, and that this wasn’t like him. She decided to go to the hospital to find him. Spinelli then came in with no news on Peter but information about Sam’s parole officer, who’s been making calls to a burner phone. Sam found that interesting.
At the bar, Franco found Ava drowning her sorrows in a martini. Ava noted that Portia hadn’t been wrong – she sees a lot of Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) in Trina. Ava said that Portia might have been blunt, but that she was right – there’s no bringing back Kiki. Franco took Ava’s hand to comfort her.
Next, at the courthouse, Nelle gloated that she’d sue for full custody and win. A lot of bickering ensued between Nelle, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Nelle attempted to argue that Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) wasn’t safe in a mob family, but no one was having it. After a lot of arguing, Michael and Willow left, and Carly told Nelle that she was trash and that if she wanted to go to war with the family, they’re ready.
Obrecht then approached and spoke to Nelle privately, saying that she won’t be implicated for anything, otherwise she’ll turn Nelle in for kidnapping. They decided to not implicate each other, and Nelle shared her story about how Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) instigated the whole baby switch. Nelle took off, then Anna barged in the courtroom and told Obrecht, “You thought you got away with it. You’re wrong.”
Outside the courthouse, Michael talked with Willow. He said that she was incredible in there with Nelle, and he told her that the only way to beat Nelle is not to engage with her. Willow said that she’d happily testify for Michael in the custody hearing. Carly then walked up and said that no matter what, Michael can’t compromise with Nelle. Michael said that he had to win sole custody for Wiley’s sake.
In Jordan’s office, she sat upset, looking at a picture of her family. Curtis came in, and she was furious with him. She blasted him for blindsiding her and told him to wake up, and that Sonny was a criminal. He blasted back that working with Sonny was better than ending up dead. Curtis said that her life was on the line, and that he was terrified for her.
Jordan insisted that she would figure something out, but Curtis said that Cyrus could come for her or for TJ at any time. Curtis left in a huff, followed by Molly who told Jordan that TJ never came home last night, and that the hospital said he never showed up for work today either. Jordan looked horrified.
