General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, November 5 Recap - Alex Mesmerizes Peter - Anna & Valentin Escape - Dante Protects Lulu

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 5, reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) talked happily at their home, until Franco got a bit melancholy as he remembered Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) telling him about his brain tumor.

Franco took off to supposedly go see someone about a new commission.

A short while later, Terry and Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) arrived to see Elizabeth. The ladies opened a bottle of wine and Terry and Elizabeth helped Epiphany to cope with her recent breakup from Milo Giambetti (Drew Cheetwood).

Terry got all weird when Elizabeth talked about Franco, and as Terry and Epiphany were leaving, Epiphany asked Terry what was going on. Terry stayed mum.

At the Floating Rib, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) talked with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), who ranted about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and about how Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) kept screwing up the mission to bring Peter down.

Meanwhile, at another table, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and some smarmy guy talked – the guy was a source for Lulu’s story about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

The guy creepily suggested that he and Lulu go back to his place, and just then Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) walked up and got in the guy’s face. The guy recognized Dante from the PCPD and he then refused to talk with Lulu and left.

Lulu blasted Dante for running her source off, and Dante said that he wouldn’t stop caring just because they were no longer together.

Lulu wasn’t happy, saying that Dante should focus on taking care of Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan), and that she could take care of herself. Lulu then got a text from Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Dante took off, leaving Lulu still upset.

Later, Franco arrived and talked with Jason at the bar. Franco awkwardly asked Jason to kill him. Jason got irritated and went to leave, but Franco stopped him by saying that his tumor was back and that it was inoperable.

After some back and forth, Franco asked Jason to do what needed to be done if he starts to repeat behaviors. Jason just stared.

Outside the Floating Rib, Dante got a text from Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) saying “complete the mission.” Dante whipped out a prescription bottle and took a pill.

At the hospital, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) arrived to find Cyrus and Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) outside of Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) room.

Curtis grumped at Cyrus, and Portia said that Cyrus had nothing to do with Jordan’s collapse. Curtis rushed into Jordan’s room and Jordan smiled and said that she’d never been better.

Jordan explained that she and Portia arranged the whole thing to trick Cyrus. Portia entered the room, and Curtis learned that Portia was aware that Jordan was secretly working against Cyrus.

The plan was for Jordan to have some time to regroup and get away from Cyrus, so Portia said that she was going to tell Cyrus that Jordan might be having complications from her transplant.

Jordan explained that she was going to use her period of supposed bed rest to learn about the case file from 40 years ago that Cyrus wanted.

Cyrus then walked in and Portia relayed to him that Jordan was having complications from her transplant and needed to see her transplant physician, who Cyrus cut from the hospital.

After Cyrus left the room, Curtis suggested that he and Jordan take the red eye the Pacific Northwest to 1257 Wilson Avenue and see who Cyrus has stashed there, Jordan got dressed and she and Curtis prepared to leave.

At the warehouse, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) struggled to free themselves as the place filled up with gas and the timer on the pressure cooker counted down.

Finally, Anna got free, and she managed to get Valentin free as well. Anna and Valentin barely made it out of the warehouse before it exploded.

At Anna’s house, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) left a voicemail for Anna, then he noticed the envelope that contained the test results on César Faison’s (Anders Hove) tissue in the trashcan.

Finn noticed the date on the envelope and promptly called Robert. Robert arrived, and Finn explained that the test results were released yesterday, but Anna didn’t mention them when he talked with her on the phone last night.

Robert learned that the test results were about Peter and his parentage, and that Anna and Valentin had been working together to reel Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) in.

Robert got a call about an explosion in the warehouse district, and he rushed off, assuming that this was no coincidence. Finn called Elizabeth to make sure that Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) was safe.

At Charlie’s Pub, Alex pretended to be Anna as she dined with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter. Alex tried to sound like Anna, but she really couldn’t help herself and she acted very intensely and motherly with Peter.

When Maxie stepped away, Alex said that she remembered what it was like to be pregnant with Peter. Peter was shocked, saying that Anna had never talked this way before.

Alex went on, saying that Peter made everything that she did worthwhile. “We have come so far and from here on out we won’t leave anything unsaid between us,” Alex said. “We’re stronger together than apart.”

Peter was enthralled as he absorbed every word Alex was saying. “It’s like you’re saying all the things I ever wanted to hear from my mother,” Peter said.

Alex kept going, saying that she knew Peter better than he knew himself, and that she considered them both to be extraordinary people who don’t always fit. “Our ambitions and our needs are greater than what the world offers,” Alex said.

“If you trust me, I can help you become the man you are destined to be.” Peter was mesmerized.

Soon, Maxie returned to the table, and after Alex left, Maxie asked Peter if he thought that Anna seemed a little off. “Yes, she did,” Peter said.

Back at the warehouse, Anna talked to a firefighter outside, and Robert arrived. Anna told Robert that Alex did this, and she took Robert’s phone and called Finn.

Finn answered and he was surprised to hear Anna on the other end. As Finn was talking with Anna, Alex arrived at the house. Finn looked at Alex while Anna asked Finn if he was still there.
