General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, December 29 Recap – Willow Agrees To Dinner With Chase – Cyrus Threatens Over Dev

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 29, reveal that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) talked at Anna’s house about Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Anna noted that Chase must wonder why Finn was estranged from his family for so long. Finn said that he didn’t know how to resolve it without telling Chase that he slept with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney).

Anna thought that sometimes the most loving choice was to remain silent, and she said that the good thing was that Finn and Chase were really becoming close brothers.

Anna and Finn then headed over to the Polar Bear Charity Dive at the pier, where Chase and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) were prepared to jump into the river for charity.

Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) was on hand, too, and he mistakenly thought that Willow and Chase were back together, which caused some awkward moments.

During the jump, Willow and Chase held hands as they plunged into the icy river. Willow then said that she should be getting home, but Finn wanted to go to the park and get some hot chocolate, so Willow agreed.

Gregory and Anna stepped off to the side, and Gregory wondered what happened with Chase and Willow, and Anna said that it wasn’t her story to tell, but that it began with a lie.

Gregory thought that was interesting, since he raised his sons to be truthful. The group headed over to the park, where Willow learned from Chase that Finn had known about the big deception.

Later, Willow thanked Finn for urging Chase to tell the truth. Gregory wanted to know what was going on, and Chase admitted that he lied to Willow. “For all the right reasons,” Willow said.

Chase said that Finn urged him to tell the truth, but he held back. Gregory wondered if there was still hope for Willow and Chase, and more uncomfortable tension ensued.

Later, Gregory thanked Finn for being there for his brother, and Chase asked Willow if he could take her to dinner to talk. Willow seemed a bit hesitant, but she ultimately agreed, and Chase was absolutely thrilled.

At the Corinthos house, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) woke up from a dream in which Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was alive. Carly was dismayed to realize that it was just a dream.

Meanwhile, outside the house, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) told Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) that he was meeting with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) later on Pier 55.

As Jason was walking off, Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) approached and asked Jason what happened to Sonny. Dante and Jason went inside, where Jason recounted the story about the bridge collapsing and Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) death).

Dante was livid to learn that Cyrus was behind the bombing at The Floating Rib, but Jason managed to keep him standing down.

After Dante left, Carly and Jason argued about his later meeting with Cyrus. Carly didn’t want Jason to go, but Jason insisted. Carly made Jason promise that he’d come home.

At the Metro Court, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) had words with Cyrus, needling him about Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) condition and his relationship with his mother. Cyrus played innocent, blaming Julian for the bombing.

Jackie walked up to Laura and briefly met Cyrus, then Jackie and Laura went to a table and talked. Laura learned that Chase was Jackie’s son.

Jackie told Laura that she was going to finish what Lulu started with respect to the exposé on Cyrus. Laura disclosed that Cyrus was her brother, and Jackie thought that Laura should turn the tables on Cyrus and publicize their sibling relationship before Cyrus does.

Laura said that she’d think about it, and the whole thing gave her an idea.

Over at the bar, Cyrus met with Brando. Cyrus asked how Brando was doing with Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) loss, and with the loss of Sonny.

Brando pretended to be surprised about Sonny falling off the bridge, and then Cyrus said that he knew that Dev was in the country illegally, and that if Brando ever crossed him, then he’d let the authorities know. Cyrus said that his lawyer had the proof, and that the whole Corinthos family would go down.

Meanwhile, Dante walked in and talked with Laura, who warned him to tread lightly and steer clear of provocation for Rocco Falconeri’s (O’Neill Monahan) sake. Laura said that she was going to take action regarding Cyrus, and Dante reluctantly left. Someone unknown lurked and watched Dante as he left.

Back at Anna’s house, Jackie arrived at the door. And over at the Corinthos house, Laura arrived to talk with Carly. Laura expressed her sympathies over Sonny being missing, and she suggested that while Carly waited, she should fight back.

“We need to come up with something Cyrus doesn’t see coming,” Laura said. “Cyrus has a weakness – something we can use against him.”

Finally, on Pier 55, Jason and Cyrus each arrived for their meeting. “I’m here,” Jason said bluntly. Cyrus noted that Jason was right to the point. “Let’s get down to business,” Cyrus said.
