General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, December 30, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be her usual drunk self as she meets up with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and suggests “the bitch is back.”
Of course, Alexis may be talking about this drunk version of herself she seems to appreciate or maybe she’ll be referring to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who recently returned to town.
Regardless, Alexis will cause a bit of a scene in front of Finn and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). It looks like it won’t be long until Finn pulls Alexis aside and admits he’s worried about her drinking. Finn may insist Alexis needs help and side with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) on the topic of rehab.
However, Alexis will continue to refuse any sort of treatment to help with her alcoholism. As far as Alexis is concerned, she’s doing just fine on her own.
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will push for an honest discussion with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney). It’ll quickly become apparent to Jackie that Finn has disclosed their buried secret.
“Are we ready to get this out in the open?” Jackie asks Anna in Wednesday’s preview video. Anna will smile reassuringly and perhaps suggest she understands completely.
GH viewers know Anna’s keeping her own secret about Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) bio mom, so she gets why Jackie and Finn chose to stay silent about what happened the night before her wedding to Gregory.
It seems Anna will just want to clear the air and let Jackie know she’ll keep her mouth shut. This isn’t Anna’s secret to tell, so things are safe on her end. It may be Finn that Jackie has to worry about! Finn’s dealing with plenty of guilt – and that guilt could lead to a confession sooner or later.
In the meantime, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will get a bit suspicious. Tracy will do her best to butter Olivia up, so she’ll happily sing the praises of Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) wife.
Olivia will wonder when Tracy became her biggest fan. This won’t make much sense to Olivia, who doesn’t realize Ned cheated with Alexis – and Tracy knows all about it, too.
Ned will get called away to help a pal in need, so that may be Alexis. If Tracy realizes who Ned’s dashing off to help, she won’t be happy about it. Nevertheless, that could give Tracy a chance to keep laying it on thick with Olivia.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will feel the time has come for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to shift his perspective. Cyrus may urge Jason to accept that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is gone and that leaves the whole operation in jeopardy.
Perhaps Cyrus will offer Jason a new opportunity to work for him instead.
Of course, Jason will want no part of Cyrus and everything he stands for. General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s refusal to cooperate will put his life in danger. It looks like Cyrus’ goon will take a shot at Jason during this meeting, so Jason will have to think fast.
“You come after me again and you’re dead!” Jason booms in Wednesday’s preview clip. Jason’s got a gun on someone he’s apparently just hurled to the ground. It’s tough to believe that’ll be Cyrus, so his goon makes the most sense here.
Finally, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will continue her conversation with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), who’ll be all ears on the topic of where Cyrus might be vulnerable.
Laura knows her half-brother’s Achilles’ heel is his mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), so she should bring Carly up to speed on her newfound family connections and explain the whole wild story.
Afterward, Carly will form a new scheme that she hopes will sink Cyrus and protect her family, but she’ll undoubtedly need Jason’s assistance. We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates become available.
