General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday August 12, tease that Mike Corbin (Max Gail) will make a declaration that’s tough for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to hear. Sonny recently assured Mike that when he was ready to go, then he should go.
Mike essentially got Sonny’s blessing to die – and Mike seemed to have a moment of clarity that helped him understand.
Those moments tend to be fleeting, but the end is indeed near for Mike. General Hospital spoilers say Mike will tell Sonny that he’s ready to go home. Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) will be on hand in Wednesday’s episode, so he’ll pitch in somehow.
Sonny will get some form of help – whether it be someone to lean on or perhaps something to help with Mike’s discomfort.
Across town, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will find a reason to storm out once court’s back in session. Will Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) push Willow too far? Regardless, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will talk to Willow just outside the courtroom and push her to go back in.
Carly will think it’s important for Willow to show the judge she’s present and committed. Too bad it looks like Willow won’t return in time for the ruling! This custody battle is all about what’s best for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
The judge has taken his sweet time deciding on this outcome, but Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) will continue to look confident.
As for Nelle, she’ll sport an expression that seems to be a mixture of shock and rage. The judge is about to give sole custody to one of Wiley’s parents, so Michael may gain full control of their son.
Of course, there’s always the possibility of a surprise or two on GH, so just keep that in mind. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will certainly be in for a surprise when more daughter details come out down the road.
For now, Nina will simply have high hopes about finding her flesh and blood. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will gaze at her half-heart pendant again and talk to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about some new development. Jax will be excited for Nina and hope this could be the key to finding her biological child.
Whatever angle Nina’s working may indeed put her a step closer to Nelle, who’s the bio daughter Nina’s looking for. While GH fans wait on Nina to put the puzzle pieces together, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will deal with some puzzle pieces of his own.
Jason was hospitalized following a motorcycle crash and is just now waking up, so he’ll be hazy on what happened this Wednesday.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will wonder why he’s at GH, so Sam McCall (Lindsay Hartley) and Jason’s doctors will answer as best as they can. Will Jason struggle to remember other details about his life or will his missing memories be strictly about the accident?
Time will tell, but what’ll matter most to Sam is that Jason’s alive and awake!
Next, General Hospital spoilers say Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will have to cast the tiebreaker vote at ELQ shareholder meeting. They’re voting on whether ELQ should bail out the hospital – and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) voting no with his 50 percent stake in the company.
The Quartermaines are voting yes, so Lucy’s got the deciding vote here.
Ordinarily, Lucy would be all for ELQ saving GH, but these aren’t ordinary circumstances. General Hospital viewers know Lucy’s fought hard to reboot Deception, and Valentin’s been a huge part of that as a silent partner.
Lucy’s already been trying to keep Valentin happy and ensure they stay funded, so we have every reason to believe she’ll back Valentin up in this meeting.
Although Laura Collins (Genie Francis) doesn’t want Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) dirty money anywhere near GH, Lucy may not see the issue as long as the hospital pulls through the crisis.
Cyrus is more than willing to sink money into General Hospital, so that may ease Lucy’s conscience when she presumably votes against bailing out GH.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will blow his top at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) later, so she’ll get an earful for selling her shares and doing her part to give Valentin so much power. We’ll fill you in on all the latest GH news and updates.
