General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) life will change in a big way. GH fans know Nelle is Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) biological daughter, so it won’t be long until they’re both privy to that information. It’s sure to come as quite a shock to them both, but Nina and Nelle may embrace their mother-daughter bond soon enough.
However, there are plenty of people who won’t feel the same about Nelle and Nina’s connection. You can bet Valentin will be first in line to deliver a warning! Of course, Nelle might point out that Valentin needs to back off.
If Valentin exposes his previous partnership with Nelle, he’ll be taking himself down with her. Nelle could rat Valentin out for his own criminal behavior and make trouble.
Nelle may suggest that any hurdles Valentin creates will mean another setback in the reunion he wants with Nina. Will that be enough to deter Valentin? General Hospital viewers know Valentin is a smart guy and can be a slick villain when he wants to be.
Nelle obviously isn’t the daughter he had in mind for his beloved Nina. She could easily cause pain and blow up Nina’s life.
With that in mind, will Valentin become Nelle’s worst threat? Valentin would do anything to protect than Nina and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). We can’t forget about Charlotte in all of this since she could start bonding with Nelle again.
Charlotte was once close to Nelle, who was her nanny. After the bio daughter bomb drops, Charlotte might embrace Nelle as a big sister. It could take some time thanks to everything that happened with Nina’s fake daughter Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), but Charlotte could eventually like the idea of Nelle being her older sis – at least in a way.
Nina still serves as a mother figure to Charlotte, so Nelle would be wise to sweet-talk the kid and try to get on her good side. This could certainly prove troubling to Valentin, especially since it’d mean Nina would love Nelle even more.
Can’t you just imagine Nina arranging girls’ trips and sleepovers? Nina would be over the moon if Nelle started feeling like she was part of a real family.
Valentin may end up with several reasons to plot against Nelle in the coming months. Since Nina and Charlotte will be at risk as far as Valentin’s concerned, he may not worry about any consequences he might face.
Valentin’s priority should be keeping Nina and Charlotte out of Nelle’s twisted web. We’ll deliver updates as other GH details emerge.
