General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 1, tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will feel confident in his strategy. GH fans know Valentin’s plotting an ELQ takeover, and he’s making some big progress. On the phone, Valentin will talk to someone – presumably Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) – about Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Settons) shares officially being his.
Valentin just scored a huge win, but it may be a while before he drops the true takeover bomb. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will try to keep his plan on the downlow until he’s got everything he needs. In the meantime, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will lash out over Brook Lynn’s suggestion. After Lulu extended an olive branch, Brook Lynn wanted something surprising in return: Lulu’s boyfriend!
General Hospital fans know Brook Lynn and Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) indeed have a history, so Lulu will be appalled. As Lulu tries to wrap her head around this shocker, Brook Lynn will roll her eyes and probably tell her to relax. It looks like Brook Lynn wants Lulu’s beau for another purpose – most likely something related to her music career, which Brook Lynn now hopes to get back on track.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will flip over out the accusations against Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Trina wasn’t happy to see Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) with her mom. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) knows this isn’t going to be easy, but it’s best to break the news to Trina herself instead of letting the media do it.
Even so, Taggert’s tarnished reputation will be a tough blow for this teen. Trina will be in denial immediately – and she won’t want Portia to believe the lies about her dad either. Of course, GH viewers know Taggert indeed helped set up Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). The only lie here is that Jordan knew nothing about it.
While Trina reels over Portia’s updates, Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) will deal with a furious Julian Jerome (William deVry). After Julian found out about Neil and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) one-night stand, he made a beeline for GH and shoved Neil up against the wall. Julian feels like Neil took advantage of Alexis, so he’ll deliver more rage in Wednesday’s episode.
Neil will deny his hookup with Alexis, but Julian will insist the doc’s lying and add that he’s got proof. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) isn’t going to like being dragged into all the drama! It’s clear that Britt never imagined it’d go down like this when she spilled her secret.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will chat with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) in the Corinthos family kitchen. During their conversation, Carly will ask if there’s another shoe and when it’s going to drop. It looks like Carly may worry about any secrets Brando may have or problems he may have swept under the rug.
Brando intends to stay on the straight and narrow, but that doesn’t mean it’ll work out the way he wants! There’s bound to be some trouble brewing, but Carly will see a sweeter side of Brando for now. General Hospital spoilers say Brando and Carly will form more of a bond, so it’ll interesting to see where this could lead.
Back at GH, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) won’t respond well to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who’ll just want to help. Mike will yell at Sonny to get out of there, so that’ll certainly bring some difficult moments. Sonny will have tears in his eyes as he feels like he’s failing his father. There’s nothing Sonny can do, but it’ll be a heartbreaking situation just the same.
Elsewhere, General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will enjoy some girls’ time with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). It’s nice that these two are trying to keep their connection going strong. Later, Nina will make a startling discovery at Kelly’s. Wednesday’s GH preview video shows a horrified Nina calling out Jax’s name as she frantically rushes over.
The strange part is that the other patrons are just eating and talking as usual. Either no one else will notice that Jax is in distress or perhaps Nina will misunderstand. It could be some scenario where Jax is on the floor picking up an item he dropped or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers don’t point to a major crisis for Jax, so this shouldn’t be anything to panic over. Jax will, however, be a bit panicked over the choices being made at Crimson. Between Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) recent hire and some other decisions Nina has made, Jax will feel the need to voice his concerns.
