General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 19, tease that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will be a couple of late Nurses Ball arrivals.
The telethon is already in progress and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has just kicked off the event, but Cam will still make it in plenty of time for his performance. Since Trina will be with Cameron, it looks like she may pitch in with his act.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will tease Cameron and Trina about cutting a little close, but they made it and that’s what’s important! Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will do his best to be kind to Trina, but we’ll see if she continues to give him the cold shoulder.
As for Portia, she’ll get updates on Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole) strange behavior and grow suspicious.
Jordan bailed on Curtis and the telethon for a clearly fake work emergency. Instead, Jordan flashed back to her mysterious phone call and wound up on the pier. GH fans heard Jordan suggest the man in front of her was looking pretty good for a dead man, so all signs point to Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) return.
On Wednesday, Jordan will continue her secret meeting. “Trust me to take care of this,” Jordan insists. Taggert may have some concerns about Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) takedown and the delay on making this happen.
There’s a good chance Taggert didn’t expect to have to play dead for so long! Taggert may also feel like Jordan’s losing control of this tricky situation.
Nevertheless, Jordan will hope that Taggert’s willing to trust her just a bit longer. Over with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), they’ll also have trust issues to work through. When Franco asks if Liz is mad at him, he’ll get an interesting response. “Should I be?” Elizabeth asks.
It’s clear that Franco and Ava Cassadine (Maura West) have been doing an awful lot of bonding. That could become more and more of a problem, but a shocker will change the game for Liz and Franco later this week. Ava and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) attempts to manipulate “Friz” will soon be exposed!
Until then, let’s talk about Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). It seems Brando may once again insist he had nothing to do with Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) motorcycle accident. “I still don’t believe you,” Sam says.
Brando will really be hoping for some sort of peace here, but he may have to wait an episode or two before Sam truly thaws.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) will deliver a fierce warning backstage, so the person on the receiving end had better listen up!
As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane), she’ll find herself getting swept up in the moment – perhaps due to this song she cowrote with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson).
Does that mean Brook Lynn’s old feelings for “Dusty” cause trouble? If Brook Lynn tries to kiss Dustin, that’d certainly rile up Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). Dustin would probably want to lecture Brook Lynn about boundaries, too.
Regardless, Dustin will declare that there won’t be a next time as Lulu stands next to him. Dustin could easily be setting Brook Lynn straight about sticking to friendship.
Meanwhile, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will argue with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Now that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) has spilled dirt she learned from Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), Spinelli thinks they’ve got what they need to sink Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Spinelli will insist it’s imperative that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) know the truth about this.
Robert might disagree since Maxie’s not likely to take their word for it. Maxie especially won’t take Nelle’s! Robert may think they need hard evidence before they go to Maxie, so Spinelli may have to settle down and keep his mouth shut.
Over with Maxie, she’ll make a shocking announcement – one that could knock Peter’s socks off. “I’m not sure what to make of all of this,” Maxie says nervously backstage. Peter’s standing there with a sweet smile, so he may find out Maxie’s pregnant and admit he’s thrilled.
Finally, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will connect with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who may be struggling over Cam and Trina’s growing bond. Willow’s still in love with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but she’s also enjoying her new marriage. Joss may find that Willow knows a thing or two about complicated love!
