General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there are plenty of men to root for in Port Charles. Let’s take a moment to focus on the guys who love hard and try to protect their loved ones. Who’s the best man in Port Charles? Here are some options to consider as we work to figure that out.
1. Jason Morgan
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is definitely a fan favorite in Port Charles, so he should be a candidate for best man in PC. If one of Jason’s loved ones is in danger, he comes running immediately!
Jason loves Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) with all his heart and makes sacrifices when need be for his family – just like in this situation with Sam’s parole and all the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) danger.
Although Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) suggested that Jason and Sam were danger junkies, maybe they’re just people who constantly have things thrown at them instead? Even if they are danger junkies, so what?
Everyone could use a little action on a soap! Jason’s career is a bit problematic, but there’s no denying that he loves Sam and his kids along with “CarSon” and their brood.
2. Michael Corinthos
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is another best man contender since he consistently strives to do the right thing. He’s got a strong moral code and wants to look after the people he cares about.
Whether that means giving Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) advice when she needs it or pushing Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) away for her own good, Michael tends to put the needs of others above his own.
Even with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael was reluctant to marry her before the fake affair drama went down. He was looking out for Willow and always looks out for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), too.
Michael has made mistakes along with everybody else and sometimes can be a bit too trusting, but he’s a great guy deep down where it counts.
3. Harrison Chase
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is a sweetheart of a guy who really won the hearts of many GH fans. However, this might be a bit of a polarizing pick due to Chase’s faux cheating scheme with Sasha.
Some General Hospital fans feel it was going too far and even too hurtful considering Willow’s background. After Willow’s time in the cult, perhaps she doesn’t deserve to be duped for any reason.
Other GH viewers feel like Chase was making the ultimate sacrifice by faking the affair. He knew it was the only way to nudge Willow into a marriage with Michael, which would give Michael the best shot of keeping Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) out of the picture.
Chase didn’t think Willow could live with herself unless she did everything she could to make sure Wiley was safe.
Of course, Chase’s record is fairly spotless despite that controversial incident. He fought for a relationship with his brother, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), and treated Willow like his queen up until the bogus cheating.
Chase is a good man at his core and has earned gratitude from people like Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for his sacrificial actions.
4. Curtis Ashford
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has seen a boost in airtime recently, which has really shown off his heroic side. He’s been stepping up right and left for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Curtis is an all-around terrific guy who tries to guide his loved ones down the right path and preserve their safety.
5. Sonny Corinthos
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a list of mistakes a mile long, but there’s no denying the love he has for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and his family. Some General Hospital viewers like Sonny even more for those mistakes since they give him a bit of an edge!
Although Sonny isn’t one of the good guys in the eyes of the law, he’s a GH darling that many fans enjoy cheering on.
