British royals news reveals that Kate Middleton is again in the news as a result of her fashion choices, and this time one of her accessories was quite affordable. Kate and Prince William recently shared a video on the @kensingtonroyal Instagram feed in which they honored volunteers to commemorate Volunteer Week in the UK.
The video is comprised of clips from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s video chats to volunteers across the UK. The volunteers they are shown chatting with are from Conscious Youth, which helps young people to encourage “active citizenship and community cohesion,” as well as Machynlleth Corona Community Response, which provides “community support” to locals during the pandemic.
The video showed Prince William and Kate happily thanking the volunteers and getting their thoughts on what being of service to others has done for them. It was during these chats that Prince William also revealed that he has been volunteering himself as a Crisis Volunteer on the SHOUT 85258 crisis text line, which made headlines last week.
Kate was all smiles in the video as she listened to the stories of the various volunteers. “You guys are out there volunteering in your own ways. Everyone’s got something to give back,” Kate said. “These small acts of kindness, they go such a long way.”
But what about Kate’s fashion choices? Well, royal watchers noticed that Kate was wearing a couple of items in the video that she has been seen in before. One item was her blouse, which was by M.i.h. Jeans, which Kate was seen wearing before at the Chelsea Flower Show back in 2019. The blouse retails for about $320.
But the big news seems to be the earrings that Kate Middleton chose to wear in the video, which were her large gold colored earrings. The earrings – the Accessorize “Twisted Circle Drop” earrings – were first spotted on Kate during a reception in Dublin, Ireland back in March. The earrings cost a whopping $8, and at this writing the were still available for purchase online.
So it seems that those who want to wear earrings like Kate’s can do so, and for quite an affordable price! Kate’s tastes seem to range from the expensive to the affordable, which is great news for those who might want to copy her look!
