Contessa, Imani, and Britten are in New Orleans. Back in LA, Shanique and Jaz are looking for Ariel fitness. Jaz is looking to help Kendra who wants to lose weight. All three of them meet to work out. Using a rope, they start slow until they hang upside. Kendra is freaking out. They take a moment to talk with her. She is just busy and stressed. She is looking into going back to work and hasn’t told Hobart.
Imani talks with Phil. He just keeps telling her he has worked and they cannot meet up. Her feelings are hurt but she doesn’t say anything. The ladies head out to Xavier School to talk to future doctors. They sit on a panel and discuss their experiences.
Shanique’s husband comes home. She has a presentation ready for him about her going into real estate. She pours him a beer and has him take a seat. After she runs through everything, Robert agrees she can do it.
In New Orleans, the ladies meet with Xavier School Marketing so they can take part in a parade. After the parade, they head to the French Quarter. They head to meet at a restroom they are familiar with and sit and eat.
Imani finally shares that when she saw Phil last he really wasn’t present. Contessa and Britten share that no matter what she decides, they will be there.
Imani sits for a photoshoot for her book she wrote on mental health. Her mission is to educate on depression and more, especially in the black community. She shares her own story when she was depressed.
Lia brings her 15-year-old to see Kendra. They all talk together before Kendra talks to Kayla alone. Lia became pregnant at 18 with Kayla. She doesn’t want her daughter to go through what she went through.
Britten brings her daughter to a plat store after school to bond. They talk about her moods and attitude.
Jaz meets Imani for ice cream. Jaz is dieting so she eats a teaspoon. They talk about Phil. Imani is basically a single mom. She works out to control the stress. Jaz asks about her and Phil and if they have phone sex. She shares they do not. Jaz checks her blood sugar. Imani calls her extra.
Jaz visits with Shanique who has put together a riding wardrobe. They pop some champagne before heading to her birthday party set up by Robert at a ranch.
Britten arrives to get Imani who isn’t dressed. She isn’t feeling mentally well and shares she asked Phil for a divorce.
