Kendra is working one day a week at a women’s clinic. She visits a pregnant woman who is just weeks away from giving birth. Everything looks great.
Shanique meets with Jazmin. Shanique only has an hour before she has to go back to work. They head into a shop, shop, looking for a costume for a haunted hayride. They look through racks. They cant wait to have fun with all the girls. Jazmin is looking for something sexy.
Britten and the family all brush their teeth. They notice their daughter Ivy is moody lately. Everyone gets into bed for a bit except for Ivy. They talk about their schedules. After, Britton’s husband heads to another room to sleep since they cannot get their son out fo the bed. He isn’t happy.
Imani arrives to do an interview for Indiewire. She discusses pseudobulbar affect and The Joker. After she talks with Phil. He has been gone for 3 months. She catches him up on going to Kendra’s and the fight they had.
Kendra is in bed very sick. She is mad at her husband for coming homesick and getting her sick. They get into a fight about her going back to work full time. They sit to eat and talk. He doesn’t want her to rush into anything. She needs a break and working is when she gets a break.
It’s Halloween Night. Everyone gets ready at their homes and head out to trick or treat. Ivy. Who is dressed as Wednesday Adams is miserable? They head back to the house.
At Shanique’s, Robert tells them not to eat the candy. He will go out and buy them all candy. Shanique says she will pray over it. After the kids go to bed, they talk about Shanique’s party. He thinks she needs to invite Lea. He also thinks she should dress as a witch since she has been acting so badly.
Lia arrives at Imani’s. She is dressed as a paratrooper. Lia plans on working things out with Shanique tonight. Lia has a drink while they talk about the drama ahead. Imani puts on her costume. She dresses up as Wakanda.
Britton and Mack get dressed and head out to the party. They talk about Ivy. They think it may be the move and puberty.
Everyone arrives at the hayride. Shanique is rude when she sees Lia. They head through a maze. They all freak out as things jump out at them. Imani is screaming and running through one part. After, they head for food and drinks.
After a couple of drinks, Britton and Mack head out. They are tired. Imani talks about how Phil and she forgot their anniversary today. Shanique and Jazmin think it says so much more but they don’t share. The conversation turns to their fight at Kendra’s, starting a new fight. Lia tells Shanique she ruined the party. Kendra thinks they all need to move on. Everyone calls it a night.
Robert tells Shanique she should have stopped going low. Meanwhile, Lia tells Jazmin her friend is rude outside. Jazmin defends Shanique. Lia thinks it is sad she defends her and her bad behavior.
