Life with the sextuplets and three boys is crazy. They finished phase one of renovations and are happy that the upper level is done. Eric goes to work and Courtney takes care of the kids. Courtney’s dad is over, the children call him Popsie. Courtney decided this year, while the babies sleep, she will take the kids to school. She loves this time with them even though they are anything but quiet. Popsie stays home with the babies, gets them up, changes their diapers. They are in good hands with Popsie. Courtney gets back home and the babies are in the trenches of the terrible twos.

The gate got left open and they got themselves in the walk-in closet. Grandma comes to help as well. Today is a special day, all the babies are having their first haircuts. Tag has a long piece of hair in the back, Courtney says it looks like a rat’s tail and she has wanted to cut it herself. They all get in the van, Eric meets them for their hair cut. Blu gets car sick and vomits all over his shirt. Eric is thankful that he could swing by.

Rivers has the most hair, but it is always all over the place. Rayne is little, but she stands her ground. Rawlings is a girly girl, she has the loudest screeching cry. Layke is everywhere, he never stops. Time to cut Tag’s hair, the tail goes first. In the end, the babies did very well.

The family is out for a walk, the babies are in their stroller built for six. Courtney admits it is the hardest time of their lives right now, but she recognizes that it is a special time. When the babies are sleeping, Courtney and Eric go outside to watch the boys play sports in the front yard. The three boys are great older brothers. Eric and Courtney talk about phase two of the remodel, Eric says they should break it down to phase two and three.

Eric tells her that the renovations are getting expensive, and they may not be able to afford to do phase three for a few years. He tells her that they need to save as much money as they can and he is going to do some of the work. Courtney is afraid that he is taking on too much, he also has a big job coming up.

Valerie and Emily are over to help Courtney to get the babies ready. Courtney bought harnesses for the children, she knows they are controversial, but she has to keep track of the babies. It turns into a hot mess, the babies are all over the place and crisscrossing with each other. Courtney tells Valerie and Emily about the three phases, and that they need to move out when they do phase two. She has been thinking about this a lot, she has an idea, but doesn’t know if Eric is going to go for it.
This year the babies are going to go trick or treating, Courtney asks the boys what they think the babies should dress up as, they say mice. Courtney arrives at the pumpkin patch with the nine children. She gets the harnesses on the babies and has lots of help. The boys take off and go exploring on their own. Courtney really thought the children would like the harnesses, but they don’t, they want to be held. Eric shows up with the stroller. Courtney is worried about them being able to take the children out for Halloween if they don’t like the harnesses. Courtney overhears a woman say that she has the children on leashes. Eric tells Courtney not to respond until that woman takes care of that many children, she can keep her opinions. In the end, the harnesses do end up working and Courtney feels like she can finally breathe. They stay until dark to do the Zombie Splatter. Essentially the get to have paint guns to shoot the zombie.

Time for pumpkin carving. The boys are drawing pictures on their pumpkins, Eric’s father is there to help carve them out. The boys think they are old enough to carve pumpkins, but the parents won’t have it. The babies come outside and they are getting their pumpkins carved as well. The family is going to dress up as a carnival family for Halloween.

Beth-Ann and Emily drop by for reading time to the babies. They were born 10 months early, and their speech is little behind so Courtney wants this special time to help them out. Courtney is excited to go trick or treating with all the children. They have an entourage of people helping them with the children. For the carnival theme, Blu is an elephant, Layke is a lion, Rawlings is a trapeze artist, Tag is a clown, Rivers is a clown, Rayne is a lion tamer, Wales is a lion tamer, Bridge and Saylor are lion tamers, Courtney is a lion tamer and Eric is a strong man.

It is time to go and Courtney knows it is about to get crazy. The kids actually do really well, Chris on the other hand is battling with wedgies from his costume. It was a fun night.

Eric and Courtney talk about phase two and then having to move out. She thinks they should stay on their property and live in a mobile home. Eric says there is no way, it just isn’t possible to sleep eleven people in a mobile home. Courtney asks him to think about it.

THE END!
