The children have been couped up and the weather has been terrible. Valerie and Emily help Courtney take the babies to the gym for some exercise. Courtney is excited to have them exert all that bottled up energy. The babies have a wonderful time and Courtney would love to fit it in so they can go more often.

Back at home, Courtney says that Rawlings was amazing; if they could do this more often it would be great. The boys are excited to hear about the baby’s day and want to join them next time for gymnastics.

The next day, all the children are outside playing, Ramona is over helping out. The babies love getting outside the house, it is a warm day in January – which means a storm is coming. They are ok at this moment, but once they get a tornado they are leaving. If it gets bad they are going to Valerie’s house, where it is safer than the mobile home for the children.

They go inside the news and listen to the weather, the storm is getting closer and it is producing a tornado. Courtney texts Valerie, Eric starts to get the children ready. Courtney is so thankful that she has a place to go to. They are getting alerts that the tornado is in their county, they just arrived at Valerie’s house and Courtney does a count to make sure they have everyone. The children have helmets on, in this kind of severe weather it is recommended. It’s getting really bad outside, power lines are down. Courtney worries that it will hit the mobile home.

Thirty minutes later, the tornado warnings have been lifted. Courtney and Eric get all the children back in the van and drive home. They arrive and everything seems ok, the mobile home is where they left it, they were extremely lucky. Some people were killed from these storms, the two feel very blessed and thankful that nothing happened to their family and pray for the other families.

The next day, they check out the house and there is water damage to all the new windows, it is going to add on another thirty thousand. Unfortunately, they are going to have to rough it, no master bedroom and master bath for them.

Courtney and Eric are out with the boys, they drive by the school to show them the damage; the school is flattened, it looks like a bomb went off. It is really bad, the children will be moved to the middle school. Thankfully it was a weekend and not a school day, there were no casualties. The state is going to pay to rebuild the school.

The family is outside, the boys have come up with some games to play with the babies. Layke woke up on the wrong side of the bed and is not having a good day. The boys come up with a plan to sell hot chocolate and cookies to raise money for the school that got torn down by the tornado. The boys found it frustrating to get people to stop and make donations.

Finally, people begin to stop and the boys are thrilled. The boys raised $195.00 for the school. Eric and Courtney are so proud of the boys for what they did. Next, the family head to gymnastics where they have organized a triathlon with the babies. The babies are the players, the boys are the coaches. Bronze goes to Saylor’s team, Silver goes to Blu’s team and gold goes to Bridge’s team.

The family took the money that the raised and bought school supplies and they are delivering it to the middle school. The boys felt really good about this. The Principal was so thankful and overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the family.

THE END!
