This leg is a meg leg, double the Road Blocks, double the distance, teams are still in Almasty, Kazakhstan. Will & James are the first to depart, they have to fly to Hyderabad, India. Hung & Chee don’t plan on sharing any more information with DeAngelo & Gary because they haven’t shared anything with them. All teams are on the same plane.
Teams arrive in India and grab taxis, Eswar & Apran are in 1st, please. It’s a Road Block and teams will be put to the test. They have to smog test three vehicles to get their next clue from the pollution technician. Hyderabad is home to five million vehicles and pollution mobiles smog test vehicles to keep the smog levels down. Some teams are going to have a hard time, they don’t even know what a rickshaw is.
Hung & Chee have fallen into the last place, but it is anyone’s game with finding the three vehicles and smog testing them. Eswar & Aparna finish their first, they are on their way to completing a second check. Eswar & Aparna keep their lead, they have finished the smog test and go to the Detour. In “Food App” they must team up with a phone operator at Swiggy, the largest food delivery service, who will help them deliver food to a hungry customer. Once they do three deliveries, they will receive their next clue. In “Number Trap,” teams must use motion sensor technology and grab a sequence of binary numbers to get their next clue. DeAngelo & Gary are in second place, Hung & Chee have caught up and are now in third place.
Traffic is heavy in India, teams are heading to the Detour but it is taking time. Eswar and Aparna and DeAngelo and Gary decide to do the “Number Trap,” Eswar & Aparna code every day so they are very excited about this challenge.
Surprisingly, even with their experience Eswar and Aparna are having a hard time. Hung & Chee are also doing the Number Trap. Kaylynn & Haley are in the last place, they just finished doing the smog tests. DeAngelo & Gary are finished the Number Trap and moved up to the first place. Riley & Madison also noticed that DeAngelo & Gary haven’t helped them in their alliance and have dropped them. Meanwhile, Hung & Chee are getting tired of doing the Detour. Will & James are in the first place and on their way to the next challenge.
Will & James decide to yield Kaylynn & Haley at the Roadblock, in “Who’s Ready To Flip Their Lids?” they must match the digital world with the real world of men dressed in different turbans. Meanwhile, Hung & Chee are on their tenth attempt and are thinking about changing over to the Food App. At least with doing the Food App, Hung & Chee are progressing. Everything is on foot, so this is quite physically exhausting.
Meanwhile, Kaylynn & Haley have also arrived at the Food App and are doing their first drop off. Gary is trying to find the correct man and details on the turbans, but it is not that easy. This is definitely where teams are going to catch up and it is anyone’s game. Gary finally matches one. Hung & Chee are finished their second drop off. Hung & Chee have finished their third delivery, Kaylynn & Haley are lost again, this time delivering the food for Swiggy. James is really frustrated, he is concentrating on the details in the turban but not the placement and is failing miserably.
Riley & Madison are in the first place and finished matching and placing the turbans. They must now travel by rickshaw to Sharminar and receive their next clue. Meanwhile, James has finally finished the turban task with Chee close behind.
