The drama continues. The women on this season of “The Bachelor” were all in an uproar because Alayah was invited back. The same Alayah was originally sent home because she was accused of starting drama and who didn’t seem to truly care about Peter. Peter had really sent her home based on the advice of the other women, but it was clear regretted it because he did invite Alayah back and they do have an emotional connection. Peter cared for her. He wanted to explore his feelings for her and unfortunately, he couldn’t do that because the other women would have staged a revolt.
The other women in the house had all made their feelings plain. They didn’t like Alayah and they thought Peter should at least give the other women a chance. He seemed so set on this person who wasn’t in it for the right reasons. The other women all accused Alayah of being an attention whore and they pushed her out. They ultimately forced Peter to let go of Alayah. He sent her home again and he hoped that would be the end of it, but now the women say they doubt him. They think he’ll get confused again and then where would that leave them?
Peter came back to the house after he sent off Alayah. He went to the women and he did his best to explain himself. He said he knew Alayah wasn’t the one for him. He also told the women how much he values them and he said he hoped they would still want to stay. Peter then asked to speak to Natasha. Natasha was very frank with him and she told him all about their frustrations with him. The women wanted to know if they were being seen. They didn’t want their feelings to be ignored or to feel like they were unwanted.
Natasha let him know what he has to do to reassure the rest of them. Peter took her advice seriously and he went on to talk to each of the other women. He tested their chemistry and he finally got to know them. He brought the women back onboard. They were more at ease after talking to him and they all wanted to receive a rose. The actual rose ceremony was a nervous time for everyone. Peter wanted to know he was making the right decisions and the ladies themselves all wanted to be picked.
In the end, Peter gave the roses to the women he thought he had a future with. Even if that included someone like Tammy who once threatened to burn the building down if she didn’t receive a rose and so Peter picked a very eclectic group of women. He still had some troublemakers around. He also had some women that were in it for the right reasons and so he wanted a chance with them and the perfect place for that to happen would be Costa Rica. The cast later traveled to Central America country.
Peter was down to twelve women. There was a lot he didn’t know about them still and so he wanted to correct that while they were all on vacation together. The women loved their hotel. They couldn’t wait to explore the area and they looked forward to Peter joining, but when he did, he came with injuries. He had walked into a golf cart and the glass he had in his hand had shattered upon impact. He has several stitches now. He was otherwise okay and Peter couldn’t wait to go on a date.
Peter invited Sydney for his first date in Costa Rica. The two took a helicopter and they had fun sightseeing. Costa Rica is a beautiful country. The juggles went on forever and their waterfalls as well as volcanoes. There was everything for everyone. The two also had a picnic and this gave them the chance to talk. They talked about how difficult it was last week and they also made out. Sydney and Peter have a connection. Whether that connection is strong enough for marriage is still up there.
For now, Peter was just acknowledging they have chemistry. Peter also went on a group date with Shiann, Kelsey, Victoria F, Madison, Natasha, Victorias P, Lexi, Hannah Ann, Tammy, and Mykenna. The ladies, this time, weren’t all that happy about going on a group date. They felt they didn’t get the right amount of time with him when they do those and what they really wanted was a one on one date with Peter. They each wanted to stand out for him. They couldn’t do that on a group date and so they weren’t exactly looking forward to it.
Peter was still on his date with Sydney when the ladies received their group invitation. Peter and Sydney had moved past the chemistry and they got to talking. They talked about their pasts. Sydney told him about the racism she faced for being a mixed-race kid and how she didn’t even go to her senior prom because she was so dejected. Sydney only got through it because she had her mom. She showed a tremendous amount of strength and Peter respected her more for having to deal with it. And so they formed a connection.
Back at the hotel, Kelsey was falling apart. She didn’t like that Peter was going on dates with other women and she called Sydney a whole bunch of names for just being asked. Kelsey resented the whole process. She didn’t like it and so she cried for hours on end while she was getting drunk. It was so bad that Tammy called her mentally unstable. Tammy had tried to comfort Kelsey and nothing she did or said had helped. Kelsey wanted to be upset. She didn’t want to take the time to think things through and so eventually the rest of the women just left her alone.
Kelsey later pulled herself together for the group date. She and the rest of the women went to this beautiful location and there they were told they were doing a photoshoot for Cosmopolitan. The woman that won the best photo would be featured in a picture with Peter and so everyone wanted that spot. They all delivered beautiful photos, but one person chose to make out with Peter in front of the others and it got awkward fast. It let the other women know that he was for grabs and so they tried to make out with Peter.
The winner of this competition was later revealed to be Victoria F. She was the first one to make out with him and so her photos were considered more authentic. She also got to make out with him again for the official photo with Cosmopolitan. It was basically a win-win for her and the rest of the women were feeling jealous. Victoria F. was also pulled aside later on by Peter and so they went back to making out. Peter said he has a connection with her. He said he can never have enough of her.
Peter would also go on to make out with several other women as well. He was a very equal opportunity with cuddle up with the women and everything was going great until it came time for Kelsey to be alone with him. She told him how hard its been to watch him with other women. She told him that she was falling in love with him and he kissed her, but did he really mean it. He said he was feeling it and yet he also been saying the same for several other women. He was dating a group and he liked it.
The group, on the other hand, was turning on each other. Kelsey had called most of the women fake because that’s how she felt and she had only told the one person. This same person then turned around to tell everyone else what she said. It angered Tammy because, despite taking behind her back this whole time, she really thought she was being nice to Kelsey. Tammy was so upset that she told Peter that Kelsey had a mental breakdown. She told him how Kelsey fell apart when he went on his one on one date with someone else and she made it out that Kelsey was unstable.
Peter later pulled Kelsey aside because he was worried about her mental state. He asked her about it and Kelsey tried to downplay what happened. She said she was upset. She also added how she didn’t fall apart as others had accused her of doing and so overall Kelsey was upset about whoever spilled the beans. She returned to the rest of the girls where she asked them who said she was emotionally unstable. Kelsey tried to tell them she can choose the best way for her to handle things and that no one should be running to tell Peter what she’s doing.
Kelsey doesn’t think the women should be using their opportunity with Peter to go tattletale. She said as much and surprisingly no one stepped up to confess to what they did. Tammy refused to say it was her. She instead kept quiet as Kelsey kept asking who told him and so the conversation went nowhere. Peter later decided who he wanted to hang out with and he chose Hannah Ann. Kelsey thinks that he didn’t choose her because of what this mysterious person told him and so that gave her even more reason to resent the tattletale.
Peter later went on a date with Kelley. He said he needed to see more from her. They started off great because they met right before this whole process and then the relationship plateaued. It wasn’t going anywhere. Peter didn’t know why and so he invited Kelley to a spiritual date because he wanted to know if what they want aligns at some point, but their spiritual advisors had said she was holding herself back and that’s something he saw with her all the time. Peter gave more toward their relationship than she did.
Peter said he makes excuses for why Kelley isn’t as involved as he is. He also said he was ready to put a stop to all of that and so Kelley needed to convince him that she was serious about their relationship. Peter had given her the chance. He told her how he was feeling and she told him she had doubts. She started having doubts when he began rewarding the drama and so Kelley wasn’t too sure of him. She said as much and she also said she does care about him. And so she challenged him.
Peter liked that about her. He gave her a rose and he wanted to keep her around. He liked trying to win her over, but there was even more drama brewing behind the scenes. Tammy continues to badmouth Kelsey and she even said it to Kelsey’s face. She accused the other woman of being a heavy drinker. She said Kelsey was a wreck and Kelsey doesn’t remember it that way. She thought Tammy was blowing things out of proportion and she wanted to put a stop to it before it hurt her relationship with Peter.
Kelsey went over to speak to Peter. She told him how people have been exaggerating what happened and she said she doesn’t know why Tammy is doing this. It could be jealousy. It could be Tammy just wanting to get rid of her and so Kelsey told Peter everything she was feeling. She told him she was serious about him and he rewarded that with a rose. He didn’t need a ceremony to decide what he feels about her. He likes her and he doesn’t want her to feel isolated or alone. Its why he gave her the rose when it was just the two of them.
Kelsey returned to the rest of the girls with her rose. She was proud of it and so she did tell the other women what happened. She told them that she went over to his side of the hotel to explain how she was feeling. She told him quite a few things. She didn’t fully tell the women what she told him and whatever she told him must have been enough for him because he later decided to cancel the cocktail party. Peter said he knew what he wanted. He had found the clarity and he wanted to go directly to the rose ceremony.
The women were all shocked by his actions. They turned on Kelsey because they blamed her for the canceled cocktail party and everyone was demanding to know what she said to him. Kelsey told them that she mainly discussed her feelings. She also said that she brings up Tammy, but it had been about the drinking part and nothing else. Kelsey was being blamed for what happened. The women were all hating on her because some of them had been hoping for one on one time with Peter at the party and now they were missing out.
Tammy for one was the most worried. She kept questioning what Kelsey told Peter and Kelsey said she told him how she didn’t have a problem with alcohol or pills. Tammy tried to deny she mentioned pills and the other women called her out on it. They all heard Tammy talking about Kelsey. She did tell them that Kelsey had a problem with alcohol and pills. She did tell Peter these things and that led to him being concerned for Kelsey. And so Kelsey had to respond because she didn’t want Peter to think badly of her.
Only Tammy now is worried about her position. She thinks Kelsey threw her under the bus and that Peter was going to send her home because of what he heard. Tammy tried to ignore her own part in all of this and so the other women reminded her of what really happened. Sydney made Tammy confess that she was talking behind Kelsey’s back and that she told Peter what happened. Tammy tried to claim that she only brought it up as she was talking about herself, but no one believed her and they all called her out on it.
Tammy brought up Kelsey with Peter because she wanted him to send Kelsey home. Its no one’s fault but her if the trap backfired and so Tammy went into damage control. She later interrupted the rose ceremony because she asked to speak to Peter alone. She tried to tell him that she hadn’t come from a malicious place when she was talking about Kelsey and her conversation was interrupted by Mykenna. It turns out both women wanted to use the rose ceremony as their lost cocktail party and so that angered the rest of the women.
Everyone was upset as well as on edge when Peter came back. He began handing out roses and he gave his final rose to Tammy. Tammy was a troublemaker and his decision to keep her around was throwing everyone off. It also upset them when they said goodbye to Shiann and Lexi. Those two women were liked and they will be missed.
