The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will have a strange feeling in the coming weeks. Finn won’t be able to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong, but he’ll sense that something’s off with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Steffy will be on edge and just not herself.
Of course, that’s because Steffy will be keeping a major secret from Finn. She won’t want Finn to know she hooked up with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) behind his back. If Steffy winds up pregnant and questions who the father is, that could add yet another complicated layer to call this.
Regardless, Steffy will keep secrets from Finn and leave herself feeling overwhelmed. Finn may keep pushing and pushing Steffy to admit what’s bothering her. It’ll be hard for Finn to stand by knowing he might be able to help if Steffy would just come clean.
Steffy could easily lie that this is about continued fears over Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) recovery – or even the realization that life is so fragile. Thomas’ family could’ve lost him, so Steffy might suggest she’s just reevaluating things and understanding how you never really know what’s in store.
In an effort to lift Steffy’s spirits and show her their future’s still bright, Finn might plan a grand gesture. Perhaps Finn will worry that Steffy needs a bigger commitment – something to help her see that he isn’t going anywhere and that they’ll have their happily ever after.
Since Finn will be confused and eager to help Steffy, that may be all he knows to do.
What if Finn decides to propose? It’s easy to see Finn has fallen hard – and we know he’s made it clear that he’s in this for the long haul. It’s reasonable to assume Finn might have marriage on his mind soon.
This is B&B! We all know how fast engagements happen on The Bold and the Beautiful, so the timing seems about right for Finn to pop the question.
After all, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has already proposed to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). There’s no reason why Finn shouldn’t propose next. Could that be what ultimately prompts Steffy to confess the truth?
It’d be a great twist since Steffy’s the one trying to keep Liam quiet right now. For Steffy to be the one who drops the bomb would be surprising and entertaining. Steffy might face extreme guilt once Finn gets down on one knee and presents Steffy with a ring.
Perhaps Steffy would Finn down with tears in her eyes and insist she can’t marry Finn with a huge lie between them. Steffy might resolve to confess and then let Finn decide if he still wants to make her his wife.
