The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) misunderstanding will lead to consequences he can’t take back. B&B fans know Liam just witnessed a steamy moment between Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) – or at least Liam thought it was Hope!
It looks like it was actually the mannequin, but Liam was clearly crushed over what he perceived as a real betrayal. Now Liam thinks Hope’s been cheating with Thomas behind his back. Of course, it’s strange that Liam – who’s normally so eager to bite Thomas’ head off – just stood there looking dumbfounded.
It seems Liam will leave without confronting Thomas and “Hope” at all, which doesn’t make sense considering how dangerous Liam claims Thomas is. Why would Liam just leave “Hope” there with a dangerous man?
It’s not fair to make assumptions about the situation, especially considering Thomas’ manipulative history.
These are points that the real Hope may bring up to Liam once he finally confronts her about the betrayal. Hope will surely be furious that Liam would even think she’d cheat with Thomas. This will really shatter any sense of trust between them.
Naturally, The Bold and the Beautiful writers could make things worse since Liam will confide in Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) following this whole incident. If something steamy happens between Steffy and Liam, Hope’s going to feel like Liam was just looking for an excuse to cheat.
This could reignite Liam and Hope’s old battle, which was about how Steffy would always come between them. Hope may end up thinking this is more about Steffy than Thomas or her own loyalty.
Hope may feel like if Liam had put some faith in her or at least used his brain, he’d have known it was the mannequin and not his wife.
It’s safe to say Liam’s wrong assumption will turn into one of Liam and Hope’s worst fights ever. This should be the showdown of the century for “Lope” – and it could put their marriage in true jeopardy.
It’s easy to imagine divorce threats being thrown around, especially if Liam and Steffy have gotten too close for comfort in the aftermath.
