The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is in for a big letdown. As B&B viewers know, he’s about to stand at the altar with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and pledge his life to her…that is, unless his dream comes true and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) puts a stop to the wedding and tells him he can’t marry Zoe. That’s Thomas’ big fantasy, and he’d love to walk down the aisle with Hope someday instead.
Well, it certainly looks like Hope is going to put a halt to Thomas’ wedding, but it doesn’t look like Thomas will ultimately be happy with the outcome. B&B spoilers indicate that Hope will stop the wedding while wearing the Hope For The Future showstopper gown that Thomas designed for her.
It appears that Hope will lead him to believe that she wants to marry Thomas, but it will all be a ruse to expose him.
Hope wants everyone to see just what kind of man Thomas really is, so she’ll likely force him to admit to everyone during her ruse that he never stopped loving and obsessing over her.
Then Hope will turn the tables on Thomas and say that she’s just kidding and that he’s going to get what he deserves. It should be quite the scene and Thomas will be devastated.
But it doesn’t seem that Hope will be done with Thomas, even at that point. What if she goes the extra mile and tells him that she’s actually engaged to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and that she intends to fight him for full custody of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri)?
After all, she and Liam have said that they want to have a happy family that includes both Douglas and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez).
That would certainly add insult to injury for Thomas, especially since he won’t really have any allies at that point. Everyone will have just seen Thomas admit that he was going to marry Zoe when he was still obsessed with Hope, so it’s not like he could garner any character witnesses for his side of the custody case. At that point, he’ll be on his own, and he probably won’t have much sympathy from anyone.
Of course, if Hope and Liam do go the full custody route, then they’ll probably have a big fight on their hands, but they might be able to simply threaten a custody fight unless Thomas leaves them alone and quits trying to manipulate Hope and Douglas.
That could be ‘Lope’s’ means of protecting Douglas going forward – by allowing Thomas access to Douglas on their schedule and threatening legal action if Thomas misbehaves.
We’ll see what happens here, but it certainly seems that Hope and Liam will have Thomas where they want him for the time being. And who knows, maybe they will sue for custody no matter what and a huge battle will ensue. Do you think that we’ll be seeing a custody battle over Douglas in the near future?
