Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for the week of September 14-18 reveals that we’ll see some sneaky Salemites along with a major DiMera-related revelation.
There’ll also be a comeback in Salem, so let’s discuss all the excitement.
DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) returning to her hometown after many years away.
Sydney will stop by the pub as she revisits an old hangout and will eventually get a warm welcome home.
Of course, Sydney will be part of the high-stakes poker game in Monte Carlo first! Days spoilers say both Sydney and Dante Vitali (Franco Lo Presti) will take their seats at the table along with a nervous Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).
As for Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Belle Black (Martha Madison), they’ll head to the palazzo that the clues pointed to in Rome.
Days spoilers say there’ll be another box for Chad to open, so Belle will grin over the contents and feel like they’re really getting somewhere.
Although Belle will be tickled pink over the progress they’re making, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will have concerns once she hears the latest news.
Dominic Marino is the owner of the palazzo we mentioned as well as the guy who’s been trying to buy the Kiriakis estate.
Marlena will have concerns about this mysterious Italian billionaire due to his last name and a possible link to the DiMera family.
“Marino means ‘of the sea.’ So does DiMera,” Marlena says in DOOL’s weekly preview video.
Over with Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney), she’ll continue to exhibit shady behavior.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) can normally count on Rita’s loyalty, but she’s been deceiving him on some things lately.
That includes Rita pretending she couldn’t find Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) ring and seemingly shipping it off to a mystery man.
Did Rita send the ring to Dominic Marino?
Whatever the case, Rita’s true loyalty was to Stefano and that hasn’t changed in the years since his death.
Days’ weekly promo appears to show Rita speaking with Stefano’s portrait and offering him reassurance that everything is playing out as planned.
More curveballs are ahead for the DiMera clan as well as other families in town, so stay tuned to see Rita pull off some additional tricks.
