The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that we should think about Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) upcoming reaction to Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) betrayal. Hope will obviously be livid and crushed, but she’ll at least hear Liam out. Liam will have a chance to explain himself and beg for a chance to repair the damage.
Of course, Liam is bound to talk about how stunned and angry he was when he thought Hope had betrayed him with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). He’ll be incredibly sorry for not having more faith in Hope and her marriage vows.
Liam will have to acknowledge how badly he screwed up and hope that his tequila consumption makes a difference. He may insist that if he hadn’t made the mannequin mistake and been drinking so much, none of this would’ve happened.
Nevertheless, this B&B betrayal did indeed happen – and with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)! That’s going to be Hope’s biggest issue here since it’s not the first time she’s been in competition with Steffy. As Liam’s wife, that’s not something Hope should have to put up with anymore.
Hope may wonder if this is just how it’s going to be forever. Is Liam going to land in Steffy’s bed every time there’s a hint of trouble in their marriage? That’s not right and isn’t something Hope should have to tolerate.
If there’s any hope of fixing “Lope,” Hope may need some kind of assurance that Liam isn’t going to cheat on her with Steffy again. The waffler’s word won’t be good enough! We might see Hope hand down an ultimatum when it comes to Liam’s involvement with Steffy.
Hope would never stand in the way of Liam’s bond with Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray), but she may warn that coparenting should be the extent of his relationship with his ex. Would Liam agree to cut Steffy out of his life in every other way?
Hope may insist that Steffy and Liam clearly can’t be friends without bringing benefits into it. She might want that “Steam” portrait to come down and warn Steffy to stay away from Liam unless it’s about Kelly’s schedule. Liam might have to agree that his friendship with Steffy is over from now on.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will be absolutely furious, so it’s easy to see why she’d lay out some harsh demands. If Hope gives Liam another chance at all, it seems likely she’ll lay down the law and make some strict Steffy interaction rules.
Can Liam handle cutting ties with Steffy other than when it comes to coparenting Kelly? Would Liam agree to that if Hope demanded it? That might be the only shot at saving Liam and Hope’s marriage, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
