The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that B&B fans are certainly hyped up about a major announcement. Steffy Forrester’s getting a new man and an exciting story as well. B&B fans can expect Steffy to take center stage with this handsome new character, so everyone’s eager to learn what actor’s been cast to play him.
Although there’s no confirmation on the identity of this actor just yet, it never hurts to speculate. After all, any good mystery is worth mulling over! Steffy’s new man will apparently be someone brand-new to The Bold and the Beautiful. That goes for both the actor and the character he’ll be playing.
However, it’s reasonable to think B&B might’ve looked at some soap alums for a role this important. People have been clamoring for a new love interest for Steffy, so The Bold and the Beautiful needs to select someone talented who can jump right in. Experience in the soap world would be a plus here.
Billy Miller played Richie Novak on AMC before migrating to his classic Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless – this was before landing at General Hospital playing Jason Morgan. Miller portrayed the role of Jason until Steve Burton came back to reclaim it, which meant Miller switching to the part of Jason’s brother, Drew Cain.
Sadly, Drew faded to the background and was killed off last year, so Miller might be interested in a comeback on a different soap – perhaps one that would treat him right! Plenty of GH fans complained about Miller’s abrupt exit, which was barely acknowledged.
Of course, Miller’s also been featured in some great Young and the Restless classics, which have been re-airing lately. His role as Y&R’s Billy earned him tons of fans who’d love to see him on B&B.
Could Miller jump to his former daytime drama’s sister soap? Miller seems like he’d be an excellent addition to The Bold and the Beautiful and could easily be paired up with Steffy.
As a bonus, there are lots of other leading ladies that’d have onscreen chemistry with Miller. Soap love stories aren’t usually built to last, so B&B might someone versatile who could work with a variety of age groups.
Miller is 40, so that sounds perfect. There’s still be a place for Miller if Steffy’s new romance ultimately imploded – as almost every soap romance tends to do.
Naturally, what everyone’s looking forward to most right now is seeing Steffy with anyone other than Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton)! Steffy deserves a shot at happiness, and this actor was cast with her in mind first.
