The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the CBS soap will need to make a splash once new episodes return. Although B&B’s been showing some excellent classics, some fans have still tuned out. The Bold and the Beautiful will have to deliver some exciting drama to make sure those fans tune back in and get hooked all over again.
Fortunately, there are some easy ways to do that. We can think of one strategy that’d leave many viewers curious and would bring some can’t-miss episodes. The Bold and the Beautiful will recall when the show did a “Who shot Bill?” mystery. It was an exciting storyline with plenty of suspects, twists and turns.
Should B&B consider doing another mystery like that? Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) seems like the perfect character to be at the center of one. After everything Thomas has done, The Bold and the Beautiful could deliver many suspects and motives – especially if they hold off on Thomas’ reformation.
Thomas can become a better man in time, but this would actually be a good way to kick off that journey. Nearly dying might give Thomas a new perspective. Thomas might see that life is short, so he has to be there for his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), and make the most of the time he’s been given.
Of course, Thomas wouldn’t have to be shot like Bill was – although that’d certainly be a possibility. However, The Bold and the Beautiful could also lean into Thomas’ tendency to fall from great heights!
Thomas took quite a tumble off the cliff thanks to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). He also had a fight with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) that sent Thomas flying into what was believed to be an acid vat.
That vat later turned out to be filled with cleaning solution, but the point is Thomas has a habit of falling. Maybe B&B should go for the hat trick and let Thomas take another major fall – creating questions about who pushed him. The main idea here would be an attempted murder mystery, which could offer a big ratings boost.
