The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that a big moment’s on the way for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) – one that’s a long time coming as far as many fans are concerned.
B&B viewers know Steffy has a “Steam” photo prominently displayed in her living room. That portrait of Steffy and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has certainly been a source of annoyance for plenty of fans.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) recently brought up that photo and wanted to know why Steffy still had it on her wall. Steffy argued that it was so Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) could see that her parents were happy.
The hope is that Kelly always feels surrounded by love, but Thomas feels like Steffy’s hanging onto what might’ve been.
Most of us can agree it’s weird to have a huge photo of yourself with your ex in the living room. B&B can try to convince us that’s normal all they want, but it’s honestly ridiculous and borderline humiliating.
Kelly is a toddler and doesn’t care about what’s on Steffy’s wall. As long as Liam and Steffy work together as coparents, that’s more than enough.
Steffy deserves the chance to put Liam behind her – and how can she do that when he’s staring her in the face daily? Thomas is right; that “Steam” picture serves as a reminder of the life Steffy wishes she’d had with Liam. It’s time to let that life go – and Steffy can make it official by removing the portrait from the wall.
On Twitter, tons of Bold and the Beautiful fans are on the same page about this. “Ok B&B you’ve put us Steffy fans through a lot,” one viewer said. “To reward us for our patience I’m going to need a total destruction of that damn portrait. Burn it, toss over the cliff, break it over Liam’s head…”
“Burn that portrait, Steffy!!!” said another. “This damn portrait is so dumb…it makes women look weak and pathetic, and Steffy is none of that,” one more Bold and the Beautiful fan insisted. “Fix it, please.”
It finally looks like B&B’s indeed going to fix this. Thomas’ speech about that photo already seems like a good indicator of where things are headed. Plus, Steffy’s set to take a huge step forward in building a new life for herself.
During the week of September 14-18, there’ll be some bold move that shows Steffy means business when it comes to moving on from Liam.
