The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could take a page out of Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) playbook. After years of putting up with Liam’s waffling, maybe it’s Steffy’s turn to do a little waffling of her own! It would serve Liam right at this point.
Steffy is clearly pining for Liam, but she’s also talked about joining a dating app and putting herself back out there. She doesn’t intend to stay stuck in Liam limbo forever – and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may use that to his advantage.
However, there’s another interesting factor here. A new Forrester Creations hunk named Collin (Oli Green) will flirt with Steffy and ultimately ask her out.
It appears Steffy may turn Collin down or at least not expect much to come of this. The actor cast in the role seems too young and just doesn’t have the right look for Steffy. B&B probably doesn’t intend for this to turn into anything.
Even so, Steffy will be flattered and that’ll give her a confidence boost. Thomas may continue to boost Steffy’s confidence as he manipulates her into making a move on Liam.
Perhaps Thomas will convince Steffy that Liam’s longing for her, too. He might contend that one kiss is all it’ll take to lead Liam’s heart back to her. Steffy will indeed lock lips with Liam later, so Thomas will be thrilled that his plan’s coming together. He’ll send Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) over just in time for her to witness the smooch.
Hope’s devastation could lead to Liam pushing Steffy away and trying to pull Hope closer. This could easily serve as a bit of a wakeup call for Steffy. She may see that Liam’s always going to drift toward Hope – and Hope’s apparently his first choice at the moment.
Watching Liam attempt to fix his relationship could make Steffy decide it’s time to move on. She may not want to be Liam’s runner-up.
That Forrester Creations hottie may not be the right fit for Steffy, but there are plenty of fish in the sea. Collin’s interest could remind Steffy that she has options. Hope may choose to dump Liam at some point, but that doesn’t mean Steffy will jump right into Liam’s arms. Liam could end up all alone if Steffy hits the brakes and plays the field for a while.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers seemingly point to a slow-burn reunion for “Steam.” Despite making her move with Liam, Steffy could waffle like Liam tends to do and decide this isn’t what she wants. Maybe B&B will actually make Liam work for Steffy’s heart once “Lope’s” kaput. If Steffy makes Liam jealous with a new man in the meantime, that’s even better.
