The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) will soon find out about Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) pursuit of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Katie will be left stunned and most likely certain of her decision to skip a “Batie” reunion.
Bill admitted that the stolen kiss reawakened something in him and professed his love for Brooke, so how can Katie even consider getting back together with him now?
Of course, Katie was already pushing Bill away, but this should really seal the deal on another round of “Batie” not happening. That’s good news in many fans’ eyes since Katie shouldn’t have to put up with this time and time again.
Never say never on another reunion with Bill, but it doesn’t seem like B&B writers have one in mind anytime soon.
Nevertheless, that still leaves Katie without a love interest. Katie must be feeling broken and lonely right about now – and things are only going to get worse after she overhears part of Bill’s upcoming conversation with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
It should become clear to Katie that all Bill’s begging to get back together meant nothing. Katie may feel like when it comes to Bill, she’s always going to be Brooke’s backup.
Maybe Katie could use a fling to help her get over this Bill heartbreak. Is there someone on canvas who’s probably also feeling broken and lonely – an unexpected hunk who could be there for Katie when he needs her?
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) might be a surprising yet fitting match for Katie. She’s fallen for a younger guy before when she got together with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).
Now that Thomas has reformed and is trying to be a better man, there’s the potential for new flying sparks on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Katie and Thomas both have young sons: Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) belongs to Thomas and Will Spencer (Finnegan George) belongs to Katie. That’s certainly something Katie and Thomas could bond over. They could talk about the challenges of co-parenting and get the boys together for some playdates.
Katie would undoubtedly be wary due to Thomas’ previous Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) obsession and the way he treated Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes).
However, Thomas might convince Katie that he’s truly changed. Perhaps Katie and Thomas could seek a fresh start together. Whether that’s in the form of a fun fling or something deeper, a Thomas and Katie pairing might be an interesting way to go.
