The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will give her brother another chance. Despite all that’s happened in recent months, circumstances will require this risk.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is bound to show his face again. He’ll need something productive to do when he does. A plausible storyline that allows him to further a previously stated goal can happen if Steffy agrees to work with Thomas at Forrester Creations.
Rather than just returning to his designer’s position, Thomas can be given additional responsibilities. And with that his plan to take power from Steffy can be executed.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Two Key Heads Distracted
Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) were distracted by their marital issues when viewers last saw them. As this projected storyline plays out, both men would remain entangled in the potential endings of Queric and Bridge. However, personal drama wouldn’t prevent business from needing to be conducted.
Steffy has acted with dexterity as the co-head of FC. But it’s natural to believe that Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray) could face a serious health crisis, or there could be some lesser problem, like a major renovation being done at the cliff house, that creates a legitimate distraction. Either situation could shift Steffy’s attention and create an opportunity for Thomas to pounce.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Stealing Work Rather Than Helping
Thomas once imagined himself and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) living together as a family in Eric’s mansion. It was years in the future and every other Logan lady was gone. Atkinson’s character was running the show at FC, with Steffy serving as his underling.
In real time and regardless of whatever distractions Steffy might face, she would never allow Thomas to simply take control. Knowing that his sister is leery of means that he won’t seek to prove himself, he’ll try to steal power.
The above can happen if Steffy legitimately needs to handle some issue at FC’s European division, meaning that she’d be gone for a handful of weeks. If that doesn’t happen, Thomas could work with an accomplice to flood his sister with work. Doing so could force her to ask for his assistance, or for Ridge to give Thomas extra responsibilities.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Cementing Power Grab
Thomas won’t want to relinquish any decision-making power he gains. Steffy will realize what’s happening, but won’t be able to push Thomas off.
Ridge won’t suddenly forget that Thomas abused his trust. Instead he’ll see office squabbles that develop between his children as issues they should resolve.
Having gained a foothold, Thomas can cement his power grab when becoming a defacto leader in the family business. With that his next step would be to try and supplant Steffy as Ridge’s right hand.
