The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, July 23, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was unconscious in a hospital bed in the ER when Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) rushed in the direction of her room. An EMT updated Finn about Steffy’s condition, saying that Steffy had been unresponsive since the accident. Finn asked if Steffy was wearing a helmet, and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) appeared saying that she had been.
“Oh, Mr. Spencer,” Finn said. Bill asked who Finn was, and he replied, “Dr. Finnegan.” Bill said, “That’s Steffy Forrester in there and you’re going to make sure she’s ok.”
Finn told Bill matter-of-factly that he’ll give updates after some tests. Bill looked horrified and very scared, as he relived the accident in his mind, and viewers heard Bill’s frantic 911 call.
Bill was sitting helplessly in the waiting area when Finn came out of Steffy’s room. Bill asked if Steffy was going to be ok, and Finn said that she was stable, and that she was getting the very best care possible.
Finn noted that it was fortunate that Steffy was wearing her helmet. Bill stammered that the accident wasn’t Steffy’s fault, and that he needed to see her, as he didn’t want Steffy to be alone.
Later, Bill got to see Steffy, who was still unconscious. “You’re a fighter. I know what kind of fighter you are,” Bill said. “You’re going to get through this. You’re going to be ok. You have to be ok.”
Bill told Steffy that he was just on his way to see Kelly, who was “her mother’s daughter – beautiful and strong. I was just driving along and there you were, and I slammed on the brakes,” Bill said, crying. “I’m so sorry,” Bill said, totally beside himself.
Over at Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) apartment, Sally and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) argued, rehashing Sally’s big plan to go get pregnant by Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) that evening.
Sally was still lying on the floor after Flo tripped her and she clutched her head in pain. Soon, Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) returned and learned that Flo tripped Sally and that Sally hit her head.
After some more back-and-forth about Sally’s plan, Sally left for Wyatt’s place. Flo urged Penny to let her go, but Penny refused. Penny took Flo’s phone and started texting something.
Flo demanded to know who Penny was texting from her phone. “Are you texting Wyatt from my phone pretending to be me?” Flo asked. “What are you saying to him?”
Over at Wyatt’s place, Sally arrived. Wyatt asked if Sally was ok after her fall, and Sally said she was fine, and that she wanted tonight to be about them. Sally explained that she finally sees something to live for. “Are you saying you want to talk to Dr. Escobar about treatments?” Wyatt asked.
Sally smiled and nodded, saying that Wyatt convinced her and gave her hope.
Sally said that she hoped for a bright future that would start tonight, and she clutched her stomach. Sally went on about having a future with Wyatt, and she said that if she has to go, there is one thing she wants first. Sally started to unbutton her vest, making Wyatt uncomfortable. “Sally, I’m committed to Flo,” Wyatt said.
Suddenly, Wyatt got a text from Flo’s phone. It said: “Tomorrow we start our life together. Make tonight for you two.” Wyatt texted back, “What are you saying?” Wyatt relayed to Sally what the text from Flo said, and Sally said that it’s what she wants, too – just one last chance to feel desired.
Back at Sally’s place, Penny read the text to Flo, who was horrified. Flo then tricked Penny into sending another text saying something to the effect of “I want you to enjoy it, and enjoy each other fully, head to toe, front to back, don’t miss anything.”
Back at Wyatt’s place, Sally started to undress, taking off her vest. “Please, I need this, Wyatt,” Sally said, going on about how she just wanted to feel Wyatt’s arms around her one last time. Wyatt contemplated what to do. “Sally, you should put your clothes back on,” Wyatt said. But Sally kept going, taking off her skirt.
Sally stood in her lingerie facing Wyatt and with her back to a mirror. In the mirror, Wyatt saw a message written on Sally’s lingerie, saying “Help Me Flo.” Wyatt read the message out loud, then asked Sally what was going on. “Where is Flo?” Wyatt demanded. “What have you done?” Sally was speechless.
