The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, August 17, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will deliver some stunning news. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may get grilled about how she’s doing first since she’s still recovering from her crash injuries.
Ridge will probably check in with Steffy and see how she’s coping with her pain, but Steffy may sense that something’s bothering him.
Of course, B&B viewers know what that something is! Ridge is now divorced from Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and married to Shauna Forrester (Denise Richards), so that shocker’s sure to leave Steffy confused.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will tell Steffy the whole messy story, which he can’t remember most of – not a first-hand account of it anyway.
Ridge believes he texted Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the divorce papers before marrying Shauna, so he’s beating himself up over that drunken debacle.
However, Shauna and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) are the ones who schemed to make this happen. Ridge isn’t to blame for the text and the new marriage mess that followed.
Nevertheless, Ridge does have a new wife – that much is true! The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will reel when she gets updates on that crazy night in Sin City.
Ridge will lean on Steffy for support as he tries to accept that his marriage to Brooke is over. Since Brooke is arguably the love of Ridge’s life and he was all set to reunite with her, he’ll feel heartbroken and overwhelmed.
Over with Eric Forrester (John McCook), he’ll receive a visit from Brooke on Monday. As you can imagine, Brooke will have a lot on her mind. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric will be sympathetic as he offers guidance, but Quinn will end up provoking Brooke and angering Eric in the process.
B&B fans can expect some tense moments as Quinn and Brooke trade barbs. Things tend to get heated between these two anyway, but their conflict should be worse than ever under the circumstances.
Quinn will make it clear that Shauna’s the far better woman for Ridge. From Quinn’s perspective, this is quite an upgrade!
Brooke will eventually grow suspicious of Quinn and how she might’ve meddled, so more trouble’s brewing on the CBS soap. We’ll fill you in as other B&B details emerge.
