The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, September 28, teases that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will get some news that breaks his heart. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will still be trying to come to grips with the horrifying scene that just played out with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Steffy completely lost it over Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) being kept away from her.
Since Steffy’s in denial and out of control, she even went as far to pull out a knife during the confrontation. Although Steffy eventually dropped the weapon, she’s still in bad shape.
It’s clear to Liam, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brook Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that Steffy needs serious help.
Once Finn gets updates on this distressing situation, he’ll agree that Steffy’s addiction needs to be addressed immediately. Finn may assure Liam that he didn’t prescribe the last batch of pills, which Liam should believe since Steffy already admitted it.
If Finn had known Steffy was headed down this terrible path, he absolutely would’ve intervened before it could happen.
What’s important right now is coming together for Steffy’s sake, so Liam and Finn will be on the same side. Finn will hear about Steffy being found unresponsive and the wild outbursts that followed.
After Liam brings Finn up to speed, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say they’ll talk about the next step – which is obviously urgent.
Meanwhile, Steffy will continue to deny she has a problem. From Steffy’s point of view, everyone has turned against her and supports taking her daughter away unnecessarily.
Since Steffy’s felt so alone lately, losing Kelly like this is really hitting her hard. Steffy will be tormented in many ways due to her addiction and what it’s doing to her mind.
Naturally, the pain Steffy’s faced in the past is playing a role here. Everything’s catching up with Steffy and making matters worse, so she’ll remain an emotional mess in Monday’s B&B episode.
It won’t be long until Liam, Finn and Ridge all team up on a very necessary intervention. That plan will move forward and bring more tear-jerking scenes by the time Tuesday rolls around.
