The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers preview for the week of August 31-September 1 tease that Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards) will have high hopes for a long-lasting future with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Ridge doesn’t realize Shauna and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) schemed to make sure his divorce and new marriage happened, but Shauna will try to put any lingering doubts or worries behind her.
Of course, that’ll become a whole lot easier with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) out of the way. After Ridge takes some time to himself, he’ll return to Shauna with a big decision.
It’ll thrill Shauna to know that Ridge intends to honor his commitment to her. Ridge will be ready to put Brooke in the rearview mirror – and Shauna will be more than eager to help.
Although Ridge enjoys Shauna’s company and is quite attracted to her, it’ll take some time before they can reach the depth needed for a true marriage. Shauna and Ridge may be married on paper, but they still need to get to know each other at this point.
Since things got so heavy between Ridge and Brooke, it looks like Shauna will opt to offer Ridge something that feels free and fun. Shauna won’t want to pressure Ridge or bring unrealistic expectations into all this. However, Shauna will want to present a challenge to Mr. Forrester!
In B&B’s weekly preview video, Ridge is surprised to learn Shauna wants to go swimming. “To dip or skinny dip?” Shauna asks mischievously. “If the gardener sees me doing naked backflips, he’s not going to sleep for a year,” Ridge replies. “You do naked backflips?” Shauna wonders. “OK, that I have to see.”
It’s possible Ridge will eventually cave in and go for this skinny dipping idea. Shauna knows how to bring out Ridge’s fun side and lighten things up. That’s probably just what Ridge needs after going through all this drama with Brooke. In other words, a little skinny dip in the pool might be a good thing for Ridge!
That’s not something Bold and the Beautiful fans would actually see (thankfully), but we might see Ridge agree to it in the end. On the other hand, Shauna would be willing to accept a dip in swimming suits, too.
The real goal here is to be playful and show Ridge he can be happy – to be the light after coming out of this dark time with Brooke.
Will Shauna’s plan pay off? The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will seem intrigued and drawn to his new wife, so Shauna may succeed in pulling her hubby closer.
