The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that viewers haven’t seen a lot of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in recent weeks. Ever since the drama with Bill kissing Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Bill has been in short supply on the CBS soap.
He cropped up to cause some more problems between Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) recently, and then again when he vowed to make Katie Logan (Heather Tom) forgive him, but other than that, we haven’t seen much of Dollar Bill.
And that leads us to wonder what might be ahead for the character. As it stands, Bill is working towards a reunion with Katie, but Katie just isn’t sure if she’ll be able to forgive Bill for his kiss with Brooke.
While it would be great to see Bill, Katie, and Will Spencer (Finnegan George) reunite as a happy family, the chances of that happening are pretty slim at the moment. After all, how many times can Katie realistically forgive Bill and look past his philandering ways?
Assuming that Bill and Katie don’t get back together, what’s next for Bill? The possibilities are a little disturbing, since Bill turned over a new leaf and became the “new Bill” in part for Katie and Will.
We’ve seen a little bit of the “old Bill” attitude come out in conversations with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) recently, but it’s been nothing like it was before.
Of course, since Bill wants to maintain healthy relationships with his sons and granddaughters, he could stay on relatively good behavior for the foreseeable future.
But as viewers are fully aware, the “old Bill” was much better for drama and relationship turmoils, which is what the Bold and the Beautiful is all about! So, might we see Bill go back to his scheming ways?
Another area that TPTB need to explore is Bill’s romantic future. Let’s face it, it’s nice to see Bill and Katie together and happy, but again that’s not great for high drama unless Bill is cheating with Brooke, and it seems like that has totally run its course at this point.
Perhaps Bill needs a new woman in his life to shake things up, but who would that be?
Well, there are two women who might be possibilities for Bill going forward, but it would probably take some major attitude adjustments for them to get together. First, there’s Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).
As B&B viewers know, Shauna had a fling with Bill back in the day, and she even thought that he could have been Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) father at one point.
Shauna is suddenly single again, and she’s going to need someone to help her get over Ridge, and that person could be Bill, if he can get over his disdain for “Shauna the showgirl.”
The one thing about Shauna, though, is that she’s a good listener and a good friend, and that could be just what Bill needs if Katie permanently rejects him.
The other B&B woman who will likely be single again soon is Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer). It’s looking like Eric Forrester (John McCook) is going to kick Quinn to the curb and she’ll need someone to turn to.
However, it seems far less likely that Bill and Quinn would get together than Bill and Shauna, given the serious ongoing animosity between Bill and Quinn. But you never know – Bill and Quinn could take a page out of Ridge’s playbook and end up drinking too much, and you never know what could happen then!
We’ll see what happens for Bill, but he really needs some good material going forward. We miss seeing Dollar Bill in action on B&B. He always makes life interesting, especially when he’s scheming!
