The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that new episodes appear to be on the horizon due to developing return to production plans. Current news indicates that the cast might be working within the next few weeks, or by July.
But what will viewers see when the first new episode airs? As fans recall, the last new show was seen in late April.
So, will all storylines resume exactly where they left off, or will they be advanced by a certain amount of time?

One of the challenges that B&B and the other returning soap operas face is determining whether to simply start the next episode where the last one ended, or make a time jump.
Three to four months will have passed since the actors last played their roles, which would create a mildly noticeable difference in their appearances. That’s not a major issue, as fans would accept any modest visual difference because they are fully aware of all that’s happened.
More importantly than a handful of months of real time aging are the safety protocols that will be in place. The need for the actors to physically distance themselves will impact how scenes can be recorded, though so-called camera tricks could make the characters appear closer to each other than they actually are.

If B&B simply chooses to begin recording whatever scripts were prepared ahead of time, then viewers will see what was scheduled to be recorded before the pause of production in late March.
So, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) will be in the process of carrying Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) out of Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) living room.
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) the morning after she had him brought home from Las Vegas, Nevada. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) will be pondering the future of her relationship with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and on from there.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – If Time Has Moved Ahead
A purposeful advance in B&B’s storyline time doesn’t have to match the time that’s passed in the real world unless that’s the plan. So, fans could see what happened to the characters just a few days, or weeks after their last plot points.
In the above scenario and in consideration of the new safety protocols, Flo would either be in coma, or have awakened. Sally and Penny could be holding her hostage, or have left town in a hurry, with Wyatt potentially having learned the truth.
The fate of any couple that was in trouble would be revealed, with splits or reconciliations presented. Of course, separations would allow for distancing, if that’s the type of decision that TPTB make.
