Chantel and the family meet with Royal in his hotel room to discuss the night before when they got into a fight over beliefs Angenette was fishing for American men. They share that they were just looking out for him. He agrees to have them come to his second wedding later a long as they do not act out.
At Carnival, Alejandro ends the day by giving Nicole a promise ring. She is so happy. She cannot wait to show her mom who calls her the other woman.
Angenette gets ready for her wedding as she talks to her bridesmaids. She hopes his family doesn’t ruin her day. They need to respect her. Meanwhile, Chantel, her mom and her sister get ready, putting on traditional hoop dresses. Angenette did not tell them what to wear.
Nicole arrives home to show her mom the ring. Her mom calls her ridiculous, telling her she should not have accepted. He is a married man who is lying to her. As soon as he gets what he wants he will return to his wife. Nicole is mad. She leaves. Her situation is not like her mother’s years and years ago.
Chantel and the family arrive to find the wedding ready to start. They are brought in quickly. The ceremony begins. Angenette is happy they all behaved and knows why Royal wanted them there but wasn’t happy to see them. Chantel knows her brother must be aware of her fishing.
Nicole goes with Alejandro to the airport. He is annoyed about her mom and how she doesn’t trust him and hasn’t given him a chance. Nicole tells him she needs him to finalize his divorce. It is the only way to show her mom and move on.
After Alejandro leaves for his plane, Nicole stands alone crying. Meanwhile, at Royal and Angenette’s wedding, the family attends the after party. Royal thanks everyone for coming. Chantel wants to get out of the dresses.
Karen is concerned that they haven’t spoken with Angenette’s family. They finally approach them and thank them all. Angenette’s mom thinks they are fake but she doesn’t say much. Royal adds that they are all family. They will take care of her in the states.
For Angenette, she plans to be civil but she will not trust them anymore, especially Chantel. Chantel doesn’t trust Angenette but wants to be supportive of her brother.
