The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will continue to spin out – especially after Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) helps Adam get his missing memories back.
Adam’s clearly unsettled about killing AJ Montalvo when he was just a boy, but he also feels like he has to remember the whole story. It’s the only path forward that Adam can see.
However, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) just wishes Adam would leave the past behind him. Y&R fans know Chelsea and Adam are engaged, so she just wants to concentrate on their family’s future. Chelsea’s worried about how Adam will react once the memories he blocked out are recovered.
Sadly, Adam may be in for more pain than he realizes. Once Adam finally remembers killing AJ, he may believe he was sinister from the start. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) told Sharon he thought there was always something dark and disturbing within his brother.
Adam may believe the same thing once his mind is playing this boy killer scene on a loop.
Of course, Sharon will likely feel guilty for helping Adam get his memories back – especially since it won’t seem so helpful once he’s got them! Between Sharon’s cancer and this added guilt over Adam, she won’t be in a great frame of mind.
Neither will wounded Adam, so this could lead to some impulsive decisions and flying sparks.
Since Mark Grossman and Sharon Case are a real-life couple, that’s undoubtedly why Y&R’s shifting this story in Adam and Sharon’s direction.
The Young and the Restless fans have been seeing kissing and touching between Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) – a couple both on screen and off. Sharon and Adam may be next in line for a passionate moment.
As Adam copes with his trauma and feels so close to Sharon, will he steal a forbidden kiss? Could someone like Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilsuso), Nick or even Chelsea spot this “Shadam” shocker?
Sharon might insist it means nothing – and she might get a pass from Rey initially since she’s dealing with so much. Adam, on the other hand, would probably be treated like a monster who made a cancer patient his prey.
However, Adam always struggles to control his feelings when he starts connecting with Sharon. As Adam has pointed out many times, Sharon understands him. Adam’s going to need that understanding more than ever as he deals with his childhood memories.
It’s definitely easy to imagine a stolen kiss kicking off a new “Shadam” chapter.
